As people of faith, we fully expect our Father to provide us with practical insights into our life experience. These two verses do not disappoint:
From Proverbs 22: verses 6, and 7
Train a boy in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not swerve from it. 7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.

The training of our youth requires character training, and practical lifestyle training. It is most fitting that these two verses should rest in such close proximity to each other.
We seldom think about the relationship in our modern society of the borrower and the lender. This old testement wisdom strips away the "civilized" contract language to reveal the true relationship that exists in the borrowing relationship.
What if we taught our children that entering into a contract to borrow funds, particularly for an asset that declines in value assures you of a type of "slave" relationship. Until the debt is paid, your life is only partially your own. Do you think it might temper future decisions?

I know what Debt can do to your life,I spent fortunes on credit cards and it has taken 27 years to be clear of them. They are like any tool with two edges. Sensible use of cards and paying off of the full debt is the best way of using such cards. Why I didn't take my parent's example: "save up until you have the cash to pay".Once you are in debt it affects your whole
life .

This is so true , I do not want my children to be ungrateful in life I want them to know the reality in life . In order for them to recieve what they want they do chores around the house and we give them an allowence that equals to their age and that gives them the chance to see how it is to spend money at first they thought ya money but then when they spent it they were not so happy cause they spent it all . Know they don't went to spend their money all at one time they wait for what they really want . We as parents need to teach oour children value that they can remember for the rest of their lives .

The bible give us wisdom and understanding. In fact, it is very difficult in implementation. I believe one day God will answer my prayer.
