Looks like a great article but got to say that (since I am from the Netherlands) we do not give presents around Christmas time but actually on the evening before his feastday, Sinterklaas evening, on the 5th of December.

I really found this adrticle to be very interesting and informative, as well. I learned so much about St. Nicholas and who he was. I was just "Blown away" by the picture of St. Nicholas and how closely his features resemble the character of Santa Claus. I felt a lot of admiration for St. Nicholas with the amount of giving to other people and his sense of love for mankind. He was just a good guy and I wish everyone was like he was. I still don't understand why he "did time" in prison" but that will guide me to read and learn more about St.Nicholas
