I am a Baptist/presbyterian and I needed to choose a martyr to write about in a paper. I am very glad I chose St. Caecelia. Even though she's canonized by the Catholic church, that's fine with me!

I play the flute, and I prayed to St. Cecilia before my audition for one of the top bands in my school. With her intercession, I made it to the highest band :) Thank you so much St. Cecilia for answering my prayers! I am very grateful for the opportunity you have given to me. Amen.

Dear St. Cecilia, sweet saint and martyr pray for all children that they may truly love and turn to Jesus and His holy Mother. Pray that they may never abandon their faith, given to them in the holy Sacrament of Baptism. St. Cecilia, music is very much part of our family. Thank you for that. May we use our gifts to sing praise to God in the church choir and to play the organ at Mass. Amen.
