It is in the poor that we see Christ. Giving to the poor is the easiest way of giving to Christ. Matt. 25:40.

I am a practicing Catholic woman. I volunteer at a food bank. I recommend St. Vincent De Paul services for so many poor people in Portland, Or. I never knew much about him and I'm happy to think of him as patron saint of charity for the poor and struggling. St. Vincent De Paul services is helping me to learn the computer skills necessary for me to get work as a clerical/receptionist. I am grateful to our Lord and St. Vincent De Paul.. What a blessing!

A super Saint that helped the poor , he passed his blessings on to us by promoting the Vincent the Paul Society and these groups are still following in his footsteps over a hundred years later. Long may the blessing of St. Vincent DE Pauln last and continue the great work of looking after the poor. This Society is now needed more than ever in the present climate. Dear St. Vincent de Paul, happy feast-day. We are reminded of your humble and charitable life. Be our beacon and light in our pursuit of holiness. God gives us many opportunities to work in His vineyard and to respond to people in need. Show us the way to do so. Bless all women who seek to have a healthy offspring born to them. May this happen to them. Give healing and good health to all children who suffer from mental illnesses. Amen.
