    Santa Rita.

Even though we don't know what is about to happen we know that we can be strong to get through it with you by our side. I am so humbled that you would pick us to help. St. Rita, THANK YOU for answering my prayers and helping my family. My husband is home, for now. I continue to pray that we may find a way to heal our marriage and that you by my side I will learn to love and respect myself to be a good mother and wife, so I may be strong for my children and my husband who is so lost. I pray to you and St. Monica for his soul and that he might find his way. I promise to you to make you more widely know.

I recently had a difficulty in my life that caused me to worry constantly, lose sleep and weight and become depressed. It seemed impossible to resolve this issue and it was then that I came upon a site talking about St. Rita. I found solace in praying a prayer to St. Rita, the Paton Saint of Impossible Causes, and my prayer was answered. I know that she interceded on behalf of my intention, adding her voice to my prayers to God. I am forever thankful. The prayer follows:

(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight)

O Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, whose pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, who for thy lavishness in granting favors hast been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible; St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus that thou couldst obtain form Him whatsoever thou askest, on account of which all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort; be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant; be lavish to us, as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee. We promise, if our petition is granted, to glorify thee by making known thy favor, to bless and sing thy praises forever. Relying then upon thy merits and power before the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we pray thee grant my request (state your specific request or intention here!)
Pray for us, Oh Holy St. Rita, that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Dear Saint Rita, I don't know what to do and I need your help to save my marriage. My husband is emotionally involved with another woman and wants to walk out on me and our son of 21 months. We are going through counselling but he is not going with an honest heart. I discovered only yesterday that he was involved with this other woman and he doesn't know that I am aware of the situation. He says that he wants to leave me because he always wanted to be a priest. Please St Rita, let him be honest so we can work towards saving our marriage. Help me be strong and accept this hardship in my life and be there for my little boy. Thank you.

I became aware of Saint Rita in what could only be described as divine intervention. I was having such a hard time with my husband, an abusive alcoholic. One day while walking down a hill near my house, I asked the Lord to help me. I told Him that I knew that he was busy with much bigger problems and that I would be okay with a saint helping me on his behalf. Walking down the same hill the next day, I passed by a religious store and there was a statue of Saint Rita in the window. I only knew her name from catechism and because there were schools and churches named after her. I had no idea what her story was. A voice told me to look up her story online when I got home. When I did, I discovered that she was the patron said on abused victims, troubled marriages, children, and most importantly, the impossible. As soon as I had enough money, I returned to the story and bought her statue. I carry it in my purse and when things are bad at home, I hold on to her tight and sleep with her. I truly believe she is my patron saint and she has entered my life in order to protect me and my children. Thank you Saint Rita for interceding on our behalf and keeping us healthy and safe.
