St. Louise de Marillac Comments

Louise de Marillac was born probably at Ferrieres-en-Brie near Meux, France, on August 12, 1591. She was educated by the Dominican nuns at Poissy. She desired to become a nun but on the advice of her confessor, she married Antony LeGras, an official in the Queen's service, in 1613.     My middle name was Louise and until today in R.E I didnt even though there was a Saint called Louise. This is very interesting and I am glad Louise is my middle name. Is there anywere that tells us when she died? That would be very useful. Thankyou.

    It is so great to read that after all these years people take her name as their confirmation name I lave her because I am from her blood line my mother was born a de Marillac.
