   This is good information. For all those out there wondering -- nobody knows his date of birth or how many St. Valentine's there actually were. Very little is known about him -- I mean he lived 1700 years ago. He seems like a phenomenal saint, but anyone trying to do a 2-page essay on him is going to have a rough time, I'm sorry to say. Wikipedia also has a bit of info on him, though. Good luck. God bless.

   I received an icon of St. Valentina, from an orthodox monastery. The Saint was referred to as a Russian Saint. It seems that this may be incorrect based on what I have just read. Is that correct? My Birthday is Feb. 14th and My mother wanted to name me Valentina. This caused me to look into the name and the saint. Are there any places where there are relics of this male saint. Was there a female saint also named Valentina?
