I am getting confirmed very soon and i chose her to be the saint i am going to be confirmed after. It is also a coincidence that I was deciding between 3 saints, but at the last second that I was going to do another saint, I kept having a thought of choosing her. I finally am. through the years i have watched the movies made of her life, always i cry. i want to say prayers to her but after going to this site and several others i cannot find any,why, i see the ones for the lady of lourdes but not for st bernadette, so i am deeply sadden by this but i will keep on looking.coming to this site has always helped me before and this will not stop me from returning again again, and again

I am doing this as my Confirmation name because even though Bernadette suffered many attacks from her bad health, she still wanted to serve the Lord and help Him. That is something admirable about her, and since I want to become a doctor after college, I pray there'll be less people sick and for everyone to have good health. That we may be able to find for the sick who have diseases that may not be able to be cured right now. I think of Saint Bernadette as humble.
My name is Bernadette and I was named after Saint Bernadette. I was born on the Lourdes Centenary 11th February 1958. I visited Lourdes with my Mum and Dad a few years ago and loved every moment! I would love nothing better than to return with my husband david. We stayed at Hosanna House with the most beautiful grounds in Bartres.

I needed her for a test and I was going to use st.Anthony as my saint for my test but no doubt I definitly would not have done well with him plus I did him in second grade.This gave great information.
