St. Jude, known as Thaddaeus, was a brother of St. James the Less, and a relative of Our Saviour. St. Jude was one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus. Ancient writers tell us that he preached the Gospel in Judea, Samaria, Idumaea, Syria, Mesopotamia, and Lybia. Dear St Jude, I pray that you may assist me in the near future. I have experienced your kindness and guidance in the past and beseech you to assist me in the near future. I wish to make a difference in my familys' life and those in need. I would like to find security so that I may fulfill my promise to you and others. I welcome your intercessions with the holy trinity on my behalf with an open heart. Amen.
As I promised you, blessed St. Jude Thaddaeus, I share my deepest gratitude, renewed hope, and restored faith that others may find encouragement to reach out to you. I'm sincerely grateful for your intercession in my complicated and most desperate material circumstance. I've exhausted all resources from a troubling financial situation that has followed me for years. Fearful every month to meet my basic needs, and those of my unemployed son. My soul was beaten down, and my faith in God crushed. I don't know exactly how I found my way to you St. Jude. Never before asking a saint for help, since my first prayer to you only 4 days ago, each day has brought a turnaround. Miracles are unfolding in a most hopeless situation. As I ponder the events of each day, the answers cannot be contributed to anything I've done thus far. I keep my promise to you, St. Jude, to never forget how you've touched my life, and will here forward honor you as my special saint, and encourage devotion to you.
St.Jude. I am in dire need of your help, all my options have run out. Please intercede in my life once again, and help my family and I find housing. As always i have been faithful to you, and now i am forced to seek your help. our fate is in your hands. Gods will be done, if he finds us worthy. Thank you my special Saint

As we celebrate the Feast of St. Jude today, we remember the incredible amount of trust St. Jude placed in Jesus. Like the other Apostles, St. Jude left everything to follow Christ’s call. Trusting that God knows what is best in our lives can be very difficult. Though God always wants what is best for us, He may guide us to grow in ways that push against our natural desires. We ask God for patience and understanding to accept his guidance and the wisdom to see the greater benefits His path brings to us. We trust that God hears our prayers and will guide us to the answers for each of them.
St. Jude, you showed great trust in God as you gave up everything to follow Christ. Give me the strength to trust in God and the courage to follow the path He lays out for me. And on your Feast Day, I thank you for the blessings you have shown me through your intercession throughout this past year. Amen.
Dear St. Jude, please intercede for us on this, your feast day. Please ask our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to protect all who are in the path of hurricane Sandy, which is about to hit the Eastern U.S. We fly to you for your powerful intercession in our hour of need, confident in God's mercy and grateful for His loving protection. Please St. Jude, we beg you, please ask Jesus to watch over us and protect us, and to keep safe all his children who must face natural disasters throughout the world.
