   I think she is a really cool saint and I want to choose her for my Confirmation, but I can't figure out why she is the patron saint of artists. I love art and that's one of the reasons I am choosing her. Can anyone help me?

    One of the many wonderful things about our Catholic faith is that it can help us to find common ground with other people. Catharine of Bologna has a message for Rebecca and for Carly, even though their life stories are probably pretty different. Our faith connects us with others; when we can find ourselves in them, we become more able to find compassion in ourselves.

    This was a quaint article. im 13 and going through conformation and needed a saint. St.Cathrine of Bologna seems well fitted for me because i enjoy drawing and sketching. Also, she seemed to be very good and kind of perfect in ways of life and i like to have my drawings perfect. (Or just the best I can get it).
