St. Therese of Lisieux Comments

Generations of Catholics have admired this young saint, called her the "Little Flower", and found in her short life more inspiration for own lives than in volumes by theologians. Yet Therese died when she was 24, after having lived as cloistered Carmelite for less than ten years. She never went on missions, never founded a religious order, never performed great works. The only book of hers, published after her death, was an brief ... Continue Reading

My beloved Tricia (Patricia) died on 12th April 2011
    Born 27th March 1930
Her mother Ellen told Tricia she could pick a faith but she wasn’t to chop and change, Pat chose the Roman Catholic faith.
On one of days we took a trip to Lisieux to the Basilica to St. Therese, when we got there we saw there many steps up to the entrance and no slope for disabled.Tricia was dismayed. I went to the loo, when I came out I couldn’t see Tricia
Then I heard “Malcolm!" and heard someone clapping, I looked up and saw my brave Tricia at the top of the steps, clapping her self, I joined in, it was really a magnificent effort, when Tricia found great difficulty walking. She had Rhuematoid Arthritis, Oestoarthritis, Osteoporosis and two leaky heart vavles.
I asked her how she did it. She said she just prayed to St. Therese that she could be allowed to go in the church. And God gave her the strength to do it.
She was like St. Therese in that she didn’t let people see how much pain she was in and when she had to do something that she didn’t like she offered it up as a prayer to God.
I nursed her for almost three years single handled, well she nursed me back to health; when I had a stroke and lost the use of my arm &leg. I wanted to do the same. Sadly it was not to be. She was a true Christian and devoted to her chosen faith.
Her vocation was Love too. I was truly, truly lucky to have met her and finally married her.
It hasn't been easy, I humbly ask you Saint Thesese, please give me the strench to carry on,
    without my Angel

The bishops conference of my Country shifted the memorial of this great saint today because, 1st October is the feast of Our Lady Patroness of my country.... Providentially, today's gospel is all about true love of God and our neighbours-not minding the race, colour, tribe, language, believe even the country which St Therese is an epitome. Dearest Little Way, obtain for us from God,the grace of unconditional Love of God and our neighbours...

My darling friend, advocate, rescuer, Saint Theresa,
From my youth, I have fond, sentimental memories of quiet conversation in church when no one else was there, just between you and me, remember? Just Theresa of the Roses and Rosemary. In dedicating my devotion to you, as a child, I came to trust your "little way," and you became the little sister I never had, showering me with roses all my life, even when the thorns became unfathomable. Loving you beyond words, I needed to thank you for every intercession you made on my behalf: So, I named my only child after you...and me...Resa Rose, because she is the most important conversation now between you, my faithful friend and sister, and me, your Rose. (Just between us, we did a great job raising her: If I'm your Rose, Resa is your garden.) We love you, almost as much as He does, but you already knew that...

Saint Therese you wrote "Love proves itself by deeds"... I pray for fortitude so I may continue to help my family and friends both near and far, for patience in dealing with life's greatest hardships and the challenges of everyday life. Allow me to have a positive effect on those around me who are hurting more than I.

Dear St. Therese, I love the way your sisters cared for you upon the early death of your beloved and saintly mother. I come from a family of 4 sisters, but we are as far apart from each other as possibly can be, due to misconceptions, misunderstanding, competitiveness and the desire of each to be richer and more successful than the other. It is such a shame, because when were poor and struggling loved each other dearly, looked out for each other and protected each other. I offer all the hurts, pain and misunderstanding to you. Even if mending our ways seems so far, help me to move on and do what is pleasing to God. I believe that with Jesus and His Mother Mary as my daily support I will be able to. St. Therese, protect all my children, keep them safe from all bodily and spiritual harm. I depend on you and your intercession. Send me a rose from Heaven. Amen.

Great people are usually simple people. What makes them great is their passion. She turned her face towards the cross of Christ and her life showed forth the Kingdom of the Lord, when humbly, for his sake, she dwelt apart, to wait on him in silence with the poor, the Chaste of Body and clean of heart. Pray for us.

Saint Teresa of the Child jesus,, You inspired me as a child to also yearn to do good and dedicate my life to God. I have strayed from this ideal but still long to do what is right. Help me patch up rifts with friends and family especially those who love me most and whom I therefore hurt the most. Shower us with roses of peace and reconciliation for the greater glory of Jesus. Amen

St. Therese of Lisieux. lovely little saint, also fondly called "little flower", you inspired many families to have at least one daughter named after you. I've prayed to you often in Santa Maria della Victoria, in Via Settembre, Rome. I remember what I asked you. Today, I see the wisdom of what you offered in answer to my prayer. Thank you dear saint.
I have a sister named after you, with whom I have many, many differences of opinion. Help her to see that my bedridden mother's needs are of paramount importance, and therefore the maid must not be given home leave. Help her to treat my mother well.
Dear saint, help us in the path of holiness in our everday life, not be doing great things, but by doing little things well, humbly and attributing the success to God alone. Help me in getting the support of my colleagues to contribute to the welfare of all the supporting staff in my school. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

There isn't enough space nor time to explain how many miracles we have received through the intercession of this precious, little yet great Saint - The Little Flower of JESUS -
We have received roses and petals during moments when we least expected and just before the end of a novena or in the middle of a novena, in the most unusual places, and most peculiar shapes and/or forms-
If you are in need of something special for yourself, for your family, for your friends, for your neighbors, ask The Little Flower of JESUS - be consistent and she will ask HER beloved JESUS and MARY to help you - it will happen WITHOUT A DOUBT AT ALL - you will get your petals one way or another and she will not have you wait very long
    in JESUS, MARY and JOSEPH
