Pray , pray and pray. God gave us the will, we should be able to know the difference between the right and wrong, he will never mislead you , seek for his guidance and he will surely guide you.Don't defend what is evil instead repent and stop sinning. These things were written and its up to you to make the right decision.each one of us will be accountable. Don't be deceived by people, FEAR GOD ONLY, He is the only one in charge of your existence.

Seems to me if we were doing our job at evangelization, we wouldn't be in this mess. We have failed to transform society and as a result we know have what we have. It really isn't rocket science.

Kudos to these two bishops. I have a question: when will the NCCB as well as all the Bishops in America begin to use the pulpit to speak out against the anti-Catholic administration? Why so silent? Only a small percentage of Catholics read this blog and others. The laity needs to be reached from the pulpits. There are strong forces dedicated to politices anti-Catholic such as same sex marriage, abortion, and the HHS mandate yet our churches, for the most part, are silent. I've attended Masses in various parts of the US and have yet to hear strong leadership on theseissues from our pulpits. Virtually nothing was preached against the passage of the so-called Affordable Health Act; it seemed that the Church was willing to stomach the evil parts of this law in order to promote "social justice" in health care. Where did that get us? While it may be true that the NCCB is negotiating behind the scenes, this method is ineffective against forces not negotiating honestly. Plus, how can one negotiate with evil? Bishops of America, what are you waiting for?

Harold Olsen, you need to come clean and tell us what you really think of "The Leader of the Free World" who was enthroned by the radical liberals in the democratic party once long ago recognized as the peoples party but now endorsed by the Communist Party of America.
You and I can see that the "Church" of all Judeo-Christian followers can no longer fear
or be restrained by the big lie of Separation which attempts to silence our spiritual leadership when truth is needed to keep the folks from being confused and mislead.
We must pray unceasingly for them to be modern disciples willing to sacrifice status and even life itself for the Truth and Justice our God has defined for us in scripture in order that we remain His people.
    God Bless

One thing that is obvious about the Obama regime is that you do not cross them Obey Obama or face the consequences. The least that could happen is he turns the IRS loose on you if oppose him. This guy doesn't just think he's a dictator, or even a Caesar, he thinks he is a god and a messiah. His supporters view him as this latter and they worship him. Forcing the church to provide tools of abortion is a violation of the 1st Amendment, but Obama cares nothing about the Constitution. Like just about everyone on the left, he views the US Constitution as an illegal document, so violating it means nothing to him.

indeed, why are the bishops not in concert. When Pope Francis talks about abortion and homosexuality not being all a priest should talk about, in my 23.5 yrs as a catholic convert, I wish at least one priest would have talked about it. The USCCB has so far to go to be credible. Our new bishop has enjoyed travel long the world instead of tending his flock. We must all resist in our own way. We can't wait for a do so little clergy to lead the way. Pray and don't pay. Write your congressmen. Get out and vote. Show them that Biden and Pelosi do not represent the Church.

The murderous regime is exclusively democrat, with their HHS mandate and their pro-abortion platform.

From an article from, in June, 2013:
"The Affordable Care Act, also known as the federal health care law, contains a provision which allows states to opt out of abortion funding in the new health insurance exchanges operating in their state as a result of “health care reform.” Twenty-one states have already passed legislation to opt out of this abortion funding,”.
This is what all the states need to do!
