I do not know where the video of communion outside of a polling site in Chicago came from but it being placed on is very confusing and disturbing. Disturbing in the fact that this video does not say what religion it is but being on a catholic website many are going to believe it is a catholic priest (black clothes, white collar). However as Roman Catholics we are not allowed to distribute Communion to just anybody, you must be a baptized Catholic in good standing with the church. This is a sacred sacrament and in the Roman Catholic church the true presents of Our Lord, it is NOT a symbol of what Christ did- IT IS CHRIST!!

This should stand true for VP Biden and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and any other "Café Catholic" politician

A LEADER? No, she may THINK she's a leader, but she is nothing more than a pitiful follower, a pawn of the prince of this world.

Rather than be presumptuous, I prefer to defer these matters to the local Bishop or the Vatican to resolve. While I feel that her actions are indeed questionable in light of Church Canon, it is not my place to tell the Church how to handle it. Besides, I need to tend to my own shortcomings, and THAT is a full time endeavor.

    This is great news!
Good to see a more conservative faith oriented position on the matter. She does not deserve to receive communion.
    She should be excommunicated too.
But I guess she isn't a part of the Catholic faith community anyway.
I wish more Catholics would have a greater understanding of the faith that they claim to come from.
Sadly most cradle Catholics know almost nothing about the faith.
She is a good example of that.
