Defend Us in Battle: Benedict XVI and Pope Francis Consecrate the Vatican to Michael the Archangel Comments

Friday morning Pope Francis was joined by Pope emeritus Benedict XVI in the gardens for a ceremony during which the Holy Father blessed a statue of St Michael  at the same time consecrating the Vatican to the Archangel's protection. Following a brief ceremony, Pope Francis addressed those present noting how St. Michael defends the People of God from its enemy, the adversary, the devil. He said even if the devil attempts to disfigure ... Continue Reading

Oh, I wish this beautiful, powerful prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel would be recited once more at Holy Mass! This is one of the prayers I say at the end of the Holy Rosary.

How truly beautiful to see both Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and Pope Francis together to consecrate the Vatican to Saint Michael - how timely and how sorely needed in these times.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us and chain up Satan in the abyss of eternal woe forever!

St. Michael The Archangel defend us in battle. You are needed more than ever, those who want to harm us, please cast them out. As you helped God, please help us Christians all over the world. I pray.

Excellent information here. The prayer to St. Michael is extremely important. God gives us so much to help us combat evil, that we must use His resources regularly and faithfully.

The words in Daniel says 12:1 states "At that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth for the Children of thy people" Since this Prophecy is to do with latter times, which are to these present times(for the books then sealed are being opened) hence concern Spiritual Israel to understand who the people are, to the promise- for them In Christ are the Children of Abraham by Faith. Again Rev of St. John Ch 12: states " the Woman & her seed" , the first being Jesus Himself come of the Word of God from Eden & her remnant seed , these are "the People" the Elect of God The Woman represents the Church to its saints & others. There was war in heaven when the Woman is persecuted, satan & his angels driven down to the earth, for them that dwell on the earth to beware. Deceit is the way of the devil, always hidden, exposing him through his organizations is to defeat him, Freemasonry by its deceitful initiations come as the very manifestation of the "Enmity" put by God between the serpent or devil & the Woman. For this Enmity concerns the very salvation of Man, enter "The Christ".

this consecration of the Vatican City State, in existence since 1929, to St. Michael The Archangel, is a perfect prelude to the consecration of Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The whole feel of the event has End Time reverberations. So nice, too, to have Benedict XVI come out of his seclusion for this ceremony, it shows that he is in there fighting against the devil. I definitely feel a mighty push-back against the kingdom of evil lately. We should all try to assist these heroic priests of God by our sacrifices and good deeds to bring the Kingdom of God's love to all the world.
