Praise God and ask for forgiveness for these Muslims if you wish. This Catholic sees one way to protect our Religion and our People. Given the Chance to put one in their Head I'm in. A much quicker way to see their Allah then they gave Father Murad or they would give your Children......St. Michael Protect us..Opus Dai....

A vile and cowardly crime but sadly typical of what we have come to expect from these rebels. Please don't frame this conflict in terms of a religious conflict between Christians and Muslims it does a great disservice to the thousands of Muslims (Alawite, Shia and Sunni) who have been butchered by these savages and seen their places of worship looted and desecrated by fundamentalist thugs as well as the thousands who have fought alongside Christians to save their country from plunging into the abyss of sectarian genocide.

Moreover to do so would exonerate our Western governments who have covertly been aiding and abetting these very crimes from the start. Aligning themselves with the intolerant, fundamentalist Gulf monarchies to arm, supply and propagandise on behalf of a legion of swivelled eyed, blood drinking, organ eating lunatics their hands are stained with innocent blood.

Finally, it is pointless to simply blame Obama and the Democrats. The drums of war are being beaten on both sides of the house. Let us not forget John McCain's meet and greet with a crew of kidnappers: . This shouldn't be a party political issue we need a broad, sane consensus which says we shouldn't be complicit in the rape of Syria.

Is anyone certain this story is at all true? This certainly seems to suggest it is a fabrication:

I hope from this and other examples of Christian persecution across the Middle East to Pakistan and beyond, more Christians, including Catholics, will see more clearly what it is the Jews of Israel have faced and are facing since the 1920s. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that gives protection to the followers of all religions, and where the Christian community has grown, year on year, since 1948.

    Father God,

I pray for Father Francois Murad who was torn from his earthly life by the hands of evil men. May he be dwell in your perfect peace now that he is past this life.

May the men who committed this heinous act know your justice. I pray in Christ's name. MPM

    "Allahu Akbar"

Too sarcastic to say that their God is a very violent God, a god who condones killing "for religion."
