In reply to KarlVDH , they are arabic, not chechens... I'm arabic and this slang is syrian,, i dont know if it's a true video , but i can tell you they are not Chechens as you said . and the words they say they usually say here in my country , Jordan - middle east. arab muslims usually say those words , so , be sure they are not Chechens...

John... are you really reading? Get it together, man, even Catholic Online has since printed a retraction. The story ISN'T true. Murad WAS shot, and the video here ISN'T of a priest being killed. the killers in the video ARE Muslim, but not Syrian, or even from an Arabic speaking country; they're Chechens. AND CATHOLIC ONLINE SAID THEY WERE WRONG ON THIS, Finally.
You have a bit of catching up to do, John Anderson.

As loyal and faithful Catholics, let us not tolerate lies or falsehoods, even though they may sadly come from our own brothers and sisters in Christ. The withholding of accurate information, or the supplying of inaccurate information, are two sides of the same coin called "deception" and break the Eight Commandment: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour", Exodus 20:16 (CCC 2464).

Honestly you need to censor the comments, Muslims under Christian usernames justify themselves and twist the news. As you can see many comments claim Father Murad is not a Christian at all, the killers were non-Muslims, he was shot not beheaded etc. Many claims themselves are Catholics and blame the site and Catholic Online...Be aware, these people are not Catholics, Muslims pretend as Catholics, using Christian names, try to minimize the brutal incident. Keep an eye on the comments, Islam is not peaceful, it's not even remotely peaceful. No matter how great Muslim apologists paint the picture, it's more of a political system than a religion. As Catholics, we need to stand up the truth, never succumb to appeasement. Great article, let it open our eyes.

Even your "correction" contain statements you KNOW to be false! Why are you trying so hard to avoid just saying, "We got it all wrong?" come on, C.O.!!!

I know of only one cleric that has been beheaded in the ongoing conflict in Syria and that was a Muslim cleric. Shame on Catholic Online for publishing such a misleading news article. The father of lies is the devil. Those who tell lies are his children, and those who tell half-truths are his step-children.

Please stop promoting religious hatred. Welcome To Reality is right, even as a believer I want to be disassociated with the likes of Catholic Online. Nice work hating folks!

As a practicing Catholic, I join in "Welcome To Reality's" concern.
Catholic Online... are you folks going to make good on this?
Is Catholic Online going to be something special, something for Christ, or just another media outlet no better or more truthful than the most hateful Liberal sites, or the worst of the Yellow Journalism sites?
Is Catholic Online the voice of Catholic truth, or just a religiously themed WND?
    Shame on you!
