Surely the Pope has the right to address fellow Catholic Priests on matters of church policy without being accused of hate crimes. My understanding of marriage is that is the union of a man and a woman. Surely being gay (as some of my friends are) means you have made a lifestyle choice and marriage clearly isn't part of that coice. Gays can already be civil partners, why is it so important to use the word marriage, which has it's definition in the Bible.

Why make hate the headline? Pope Benedict XVI called for peacemaking and new ways of thinking in his Dec 8th talk. How can we think differently in a way that will proclaim good news that will elicit conversion, not more war.

We live in a very hateful and wicked world. Jesus warned us we would be denounced, insulted, and persecuted. The pope is denounced if he calls for world peace! One benefit of all of this is that serious Catholics, serious Evangelicals, and serious Orthodox may start finding that we are the common target of all of this because of our common Jesus! I suspect Benedict XVI will keep speaking out the gospel and its implications regardless of how much flack he gets.

I have to be blunt and say it as it is . No one can debate fact. No matter what one thinks about oral and anal sex it is mutual masturbation,not lovemaking and has nothing to do with sexual inter-coarse and that is a biological design,for the mutual co-operation of the creation on a baby. The Pope and the Catholic Church are giving sound doctrine as far as the family is concerned. The secular world is just trying to twist the truth. The secular world is confused. God bless our POPE!
