I wasn't fully aware of this movement until recently. On a daytime talk show (Ricky Lake) a married couple were interviewed concerning their SON! I capitalize "son " because according to this couple the child had realised at the age of 2 that he was not a boy, but a girl. The parents agreed with him, dressed him in "beauty pageant type " dresses and began reinforcement and encouragement of this feminine identity. They also have a physician who monitors his hormone levels so that at the onset of puberty, male hormones can be suppressed. The child was paraded out onto the stage and praised by the host about how pretty he was while the audience applauded!! When asked when he first knew that he was truly a girl, he parrotted his parents and said "When I was 2" . I'm not sure when gender identity manifests into consciousness, but I don't remember much of anything that happened to me at 2 yrs of age! To me, this is child abuse! The host on this show is one that deserves to be fully called on this! the parents and whoever this little boys "doctor " is also!!!

What makes this pope right and the trans-individuals wrong?

As a trans-woman I can tell you this is not a choce or a desire. It is the way we are!
