Why it's a really bad time to be a rich, white male politician Comments

It's a bad time to be a rich white conservative leaning male with political aspirations. This is because the era of rich white male dominated politics is over. Yes, it is about race, it's also about a long-running historical narrative, a backlash spanning generations, and the changing demographics of American society. Mitt Romney's failed campaign is one for the textbooks, for this very reason. Continue Reading

so little is ever published in religious circles regarding the monstrous lie and heresy of "separateness"...even with the constant examples that pointed it out by Christ to His peers, like a Jewish Rabbi meeting and conversing with a (gasp!) Samaritan woman at high noon! Mr. Romney's clandestine remarks disparaging the 47% of the electorate he would, by law, be required to represent if elected president made him a non-starter for many Americans. Indeed, Satan's foolishness is predicated by his notion that he's separated from his author.

The very title of this article is perversly racist. Shame on you. Perhaps history should be chipped into stone so revisionists stop making it up. Study history instead of imagining it!

Lincoln was commited to ending slavery every step of the way, and he did.

Christopher Columbus was looking for souls to convert with a trade route as the way to finance it. Read his journals. Study his life. Look at all the names he gave to places.

While most incumbents gain in the second election, President Obama lost support in nearly every area. If one is determined to do an "autopsy" do it on common sense. It seems to have met an untimely death in America as of late.

Your article appears to reflect a strong postmodernist view of history, which I believe is fundamentally flawed.

"White people" lead because we make up a majority. It has nothing to do with racism.

Oh Lord, I am so very tired of this talk about race. I am so tired of this accessorizing of humanity. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

This was a good read. I liked how the author concludes that all these changes occurred not because of some punishment to the "white man" but because it's just the reality of life. God meant for Obama to become president. I hope we can just put aside the cynicism and finger-pointing and just pray for those who have been given political power to do the best that they can. Because hey, they can only do so much and they hold no spiritual power over you.
I am reminded of this: "By despair, man ceases to hope for his personal salvation from God, for help in attaining it or for the forgiveness of his sins. Despair is contrary to God's goodness, to his justice - for the Lord is faithful to his promises - and to his mercy." It is one of the deadly sins against the Holy Spirit and I really think we should reflect on that. Why despair? Why demonize those we do not truly know? Why assume the worst? Even in the darkest of times in the Church's history (Dark Ages, World Wars etc.) our faith has prevailed and moved on. And the Church did not prevail over those dark times because we as a people elected a new king or a new president. It was because we continued to hold our faith in Christ and did what was right.

Is it necessarily a bad thing that one race or social class no longer holds sway in the United States?

This article is flawed. This past election was not between the Republicans and Democrats. It was about Good vs. evil . It was about the shrinking morality in America, and the attack by a Marxist based establishment. Get a copy of "They Fired The First Shot 2012", and become informed on the danger in The United States,

Many are not willing to to accept the American culture and the world have changed. The Bishops must understand this and not once again revert to business as usual. I real break through could be signaled by beginning to teach and preach Humanae Vitae.

The future of man is to be the inheritance of God called by His name as the Israel(Spiritual) wherein there is no Jew or Gentile, race or creed, male or female to the words of Jesus "Whosoever does the will of My Father".
