Guest Opinion: A New Campaign Low. Presidential Character and the Lena Dunham Advertisement Comments

A man's character is the sum of his actions over time, so you intrinsically know a person of good character when you encounter one. Who could have had any doubt about Bl. Mother Theresa's character? One can "smell" good character, or perhaps I should say, one can smell bad character. Continue Reading

Who wrote this? It states that children being born out of wedlock is a result of a lack of self control. In the first part it states that humans are logical and able to express free will. People have children out of wedlock now a days not from a lack of self control, but a lack of any incentive to be married determined through a logical though process.

I looked at the ad and found nothing to be offensive. This is how a young woman thinks today. Old people and priests can not dictate to a young modern woman what she is to do with body and with her vote. It is time for the Catholic church to look at itself and correct the injustice within the church and then make the situation in the USA where women are secure in being a woman.

Until the Roman Catholic Church begins to pay taxes that all American people, and businesses do, it has no place, whatever, in having a political opinion. The very nature of the church, being a sovereign entity in the Vatican, is anathema to the First Amendment of the United Stated Constitution. The Roman Catholic Church's history of creating discontent and human suffering in Europe (and around the world, where they have attempted to spread their thievery and destruction of indigenous cultures) is the reason that the founders of the American experiment of government chose to have the First Amendment written in such a way that religious entities did not have any power in the country.
Stop trying to tell the world what to believe. You probably are wrong in the first place.

Yet in the dark, Mr. Romney shows nothing but character and charity - and humility.

I call on all citizens of faith to support Mr. Romney, as a matter of conscience, with your vote. Our country is in jeopardy. Mr. Obama put his own political interests over the lives of four Americans - now dead. This man should be in jail, not in the white house. Please help evict him.

Thank you for being a voice of reason in the midst of chaos! Some would view this as some scripture passages--this is a hard saying! I pray for more voices to speak up for truth and righteousness in our land.

Character ? Romney is ok with legitimate rape, so are some priests.
If you trust Wall Street, then you can trust Mitt Romney, without his tax returns.

the author shows complete lack of a sense of humor. Most people no longer hold such a purient view. I am no longer in the age group that ad is geared to but I loved the cheeky humor and believe many young women will find it amusing as. well- even if they are voting repub
