Think 'the good samaritin' but replace samaritin with muslim. Second, we can't replace mideastern oil with other sources, there is not anywhere the spare production capacity to do so. Third, the third world war will be allmost entirely over oil and gas resources, it may not be sparked in the mideast, nigeria, russia, and the south pacific contain vast oil fields themselves. If you truly want to make a good contribution to avoiding thermonuclear conflic, advise your readers to carpool, not drive suvs, stop purchaseing food from industrial agriculture, and not complain about president Bush, because america IS addicted to oil.

Verily, they can avail you nothing angainst Allah (if He wants to punish you). Verily, the Zalimun (Wrong-doers,) are Auliya (Protectors, helpers) to one another, but Allah is the wali (Helper, Protector) of the Muttaqun. (pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allah has forbidden), and love Allah much Perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].

I don't like war, as there should always be a peaceful resolve. However, with all the madness going on around the world, I now see that war may be the only answer. Hear me out. Nuclear war has been embedded in the brains of nearly every human being on the planet. The only way to defend oneself from a superior arsenal is to gain that superior arsenal for themselves. Years after World War 2, we see more and more countries arming themselves with nuclear capabilities. Some of these countries are very unstable, and other countries are not democratic in nature(more like a dictatorship). All it takes is one push against a civilization and things will escalate. All it takes is one dictator to believe he can change the world with a nuke, and then BOOM - WW3. The only reason humanity has taken a more preaceful approach in dealing with itself is the threat of nuclear war. People are just as capable of being blood thirsty warmongers today as they were a thousand years ago. The old saying is "Peace is just a preparation for war". Now getting back to my point about how war may be our only answer. Differences seperate us and divides nations. Some major factors are Race and Religion. Every race has had it's conflicts with another race. Every religion has had its conflicts with another religion. The memories of these conflicts do not just die with the participant, but get passed down from generation to generation. And with the help of internet and media, these conflicts are IMPOSSIBLE to forget. Where even families that have no history of these conflicts must learn about them in school or the media. If the world were to enter WW3 - via nuclear war - it would cause devastation like humanity has never seen before. Most of the world would be a graveyard, or inhabitable. We would see EXTENSIVE cllimate shifts due to the nuclear materials let out into our atmosphere. To get straight to the point, there wouldn't be much left on earth. Most of our population will have died either as collateral damage, combat, or an unstable enviroment. There will be no victory for any nation, and if a few do survive, there will be very little left. At this point, the hope is people will pull together. Of course there will still be evil in the world. Bands of gangs, looters and thieves, ect. But this would be our only way to starting something new. Possibly globilization, which is the unity of all nations so that we are ONE NATION. Yes, most of the world will have died and it is unfortunate and devastating. But in the end, every soul lost was not in vain, as everyone will have been a small stepping stone to the big picture. No more asia, no middle east, no america.. Just Earth. A terrible price to pay for a beautiful future.

ahmed shazly, human beings DON'T threathen, use violence and even less kill people, just because they feel "offended" or "insulted in their religion. You are just proving islam is EVIL when you justify that muslim "sensibilities"(what a crooked lie) are more important than the right of people to mock and disrespect your religion. Mu beliefs and religion are mocked and insultred every day by millions of people, and yet you don't see me killing them, or even defending other christians to kill the critics do you? Just grow up and learn in a civil peaceful and tolerant way to have your islamic religion mocked as we all been mocked in one way or the other the universal declaration of human rights and comply to'll be a better man, indeed you'll finally become a REAL man! cheers.

Why are so many terrorists killing innocents and CHRISTIANS stay quiet because the terrorists are WHITE or / AND from WESTERN countries and killing MUSLIMS who fight back - eventually 0- damn - they have a right to defend themselves don't they?

So we, ignorant fools who claim to follow the MESSIAH, call THEM terrorists!!!

Truely, we point out the splinter in their eye and ignore the plank in our own eyes!

Millie: This isn't going to sound right, but we are living in very exciting times. You are quite a bit younger than me, sooo, God willing, you will maybe see the emergence of the anti-christ and the coming of the Lord. As long as you keep in mind, that we win in the end and pray for strength to endure the coming persecutions, you will be fine. Keep your Bible close by. It will tell you what is coming and when. Pray, prepare and trust in the Lord. God bless.

Ahmed: Thank you for your post. I really feel it came from your heart. Please know, America does not think that ALL Muslims are terrorists. But there ARE Muslims who ARE terrorists. Just as there are terrorists/radicals/extremists in ALL religions. Your religion is not the only religion that is mocked. Christians are mocked also, but Christians don't go around killing people because some idiot insults them. See article on "Piss Jesus." We pray for those, with this particular mindset, we don't murder them. The world is not perfect, and there will be individuals who are insensitive to other people's religion or way of life. That's the nature of the beast. We are imperfect sinners. Our God teaches us to forgive and pray for them. We do not live in "Paradise" yet. "Paradise," hopefully, comes for all people some day. Our God does not want anyone to perish. He wants them to be saved and live with Him in "Paradise" for all eternity. If free speech is to be monitored and certain things cannot be said, then there really isn't any free speech, is there? God bless.

Almed Shazly. I do not hate you. I do not support the movie and will never see it. Muslims are human beings and if we are Christians we would respect that. Just like some muslims are terrorist, then some christians do not act like Christ would. You are different but not bad or evil. If we as Christians and do what we are supposed to do, we would act more like Christ and try to win your soul for the greater glory of God. You or I can not stop a bigot no more than either one of us can stop terrorists. No I do not hate the fact that you are of a different faith than mine and I do pray for your soul.

It's really unfortunate that after all this time that people don't just learn to get along. However, it is human nature to fight, regardless if they believe this to be true or not. WWIII is indeed already upon us. Like all wars, it starts with arguments, mistrust, abuse of power, and the desire to be right at any cost. As usual, the cost is senseless loss of lives, destruction of property and overall sanity. The roots of the hatred between nations and their religious backgrounds runs so deep that really, unless every single individual wakes up and realizes that it's pointless to try and prove to the world that "we're always right" things will only continue to get worse. I always knew, even as a kid, that World War III was imminent. I had only hoped that it would not happen in my lifetime. The way things are looking now, I honestly don't believe I will see the age of 50 because everything around me is going to get bombed, shot at and mutilated. I'm 42 now.
