JoAnn, as I understand the renewed interest in real ID was not to usher in some kind of new world order (trust me, the Rokefellers have nothing on the globalization caused by companies like Wal-Mart), but instead was an anti-terrorism measure. I'm sure you know that there are many states that issue ID's to illegal immingrants. That being said and concerns about the proliferation of fake documents and terrorism, this item got legs.
I guess I'm not seeing the connection between the conspiracy theory and an ID issue. The reason for continued delays has been the resistance of the states and the acknowledgement that trying to standardize and ID system was much more complicated than originally thought.
I guess I'm not seeing the point you are trying to make. I'm sure it's all directed at some global conspiracy since Obama's birth to take over the world, but I'm sorry, I just don't see it.
Imagine yourself back in 1961. Kennedy is President and the leading board member of USAID (the UN nonprofit agency which helps refugees). Now, USAID has a fund-raiser banquet in Switzerland and invites Mao Tse-Tungt and Khrushchev. The President will be there along with many communists and free thinkers from every nation of the world. All there to roast each other and have a laugh and a nice dinner with a cigar afterwards. It was confirmed by the White house press secretary, and everyone there is perplexed asking the question "Why are all the VFW's and the families and survivors of WW2 and the Korean War soldiers so upset? This is not an American dinner held in American, it has more than just Americans invited and after all, it is a night of jokes and fun. We are doing this as a fund raiser for the poor refugees. What is the big deal, let us show everyone in the world that we all love one another with Christian love because that is what it is all about. because “It gives us an opportunity to act as Christians, and show some love to our adversaries, and even those whose policies we consider to be immoral and oppressive.” yeah right!
In ‘Catholics in Political Life’, the U.S. bishops said: “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.” Let's see, if Al Smith were not CATHOLIC would this foundation be named after him? Would they be raising funds for CATHOLIC Charities which was started by US Conference of CATHOLIC Bishops whose President is the one who invited the most pro-abortion pro-homosexual anti-family anti-Catholic man ever seen living in the white house? And you wonder why the indignation?

On May 11, 2005, Bush, Jr. signed a 1000 page bill for funding for our troops and for tsunami relief and "tucked in" (illegitimately, I might add) somewhere near the last page, a REAL ID bill was there.. Whether or not Bush knew it, I don't know. My friends, anything historically I tell you on this board, I want to tell you to CHECK THESE THINGS OUT FOR YOURSELF. Don't take my word for it. This stuff has been going on for over 100 years. Things can change I do know, as I said earlier, they tried to get Reagan to sign one and he refused. The Jan. 15, 2013 date could get pushed back. It all depends on the "powers that be" on whether or not they are able to kick in the NWO. But little by little, for the past 20th century, they have been preparing for this. Their goal is for this century, as a matter of fact, for the end of this year. When I say the powers that be, I am talking about the "cats on Wall Street. Rockefeller, Rothschild, people of that calibre. Here is a quote by David Rockefeller that he made in 2002. "For more than a century, ideological extremist at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents, such as my encounter with Castro, to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we weild over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are a part of a secret cabal working against the best interest of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure, one world, if you will. IF THAT'S THE CHARGE, i STAND GUILTY AND i AM PROUD OF IT." Here's another quote from him in 1994. "This present window of opportunity during which a truly peaceful and interdependent World Order might be built, will not be open for too long. We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need, is the RIGHT MAJOR CRISIS and the nations WILL ACCEPT the NEW WORLD ORDER. This may sound stupid, but thses people CAUSE the crisis themselves to attain what they want. Admiral Chester Ward, a former Council on Foreign Relations member for 16 yrs. left the CFR when he realized what they were all about. Here is what he said. The main purpose of the CFR is promoting the disarmament of the United States' sovereignty and national independence and submergment into an all powerful ONE WORLD ORDER. You are in this deep quandary where you would like to be a serious Catholic but your beloved political party is turning anti-Christ as the days go by. This time they are unapologetically anti-God in your face. The problem you have is that you were programmed all your life to hate the GOP as Big Greedy Rich guys who don't care about the poor and love war. You can't vote for a GOP, so now what do I do? My answer, Open your mind. Don't be closed minded.

Rob: You are absolutely right. It is money, power and greed that is going to be our undoing. It is the progressive elite "internationalists." If you research the Council on Foreign Relations you will find that the sole purpose of its members (along with a few other entities) is to usher in the "New World Order," "Globalization." International Community," World Community," "Global Governance" whatever you want to call it. Those are the titles the elites have given the take over.. Make no mistake, it's coming, much sooner than we think. If you get a list of CFR's members, you will find many familiar names. As a matter of fact, just about 50% of our politicians come from there. A lot of media members also. Walter Cronkite was a member. This is what he said at one of their meetings. "First, we Americans, are going to have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That's going to be, to many, a bitter pill. It will take a lot of courage, a lot of faith and a lot of "persuasion" for them to come along with us on this necessity. Today we must develop "federal structures" on a global level to deal with world problems. We need a forcible world law, a democratic world government. Pat Robinson has written in a book a few years ago, that we should have a world government BUT only when the Messiah arrives. (laughter) He wrote, any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil. (laughter) Well join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of SATAN." That last line floored me. AND, what do you think they meant by "persuasion." Sooo, as i was saying all along, it's not just Obama. He has many, many people with Walter Cronkite's ambitions behind him. It's just that the world is now ripe enough to attain their goals and Obama is the instrument in which it will happen. That's why Obama is doing what he is doing. He is downsizing everything about America and will relinquish our sovereignty over to the United Nations. The United Nations already is exercizing its power. Our Constitution is obsolete and so are the members of Congress. They are irrelevant now. This meeting was several years ago and their goal is to have this done by the end of this year. That's why it's vital that Obama is not re-elected. This has been the goal of the elites all along. People like Rockefeller, Rothschild, Clintons. Gore, Kerry, Bush, Sr. and on and on. Romney is NOT a member and neither is Ryan AND neither was Reagan. Here's another "pill" to swallow. Come Jan 15, 2013, an INTERNATIONAL ID is going to start being issued to everyone Indonesia and a few other countries have already done it. Congress tried to get that passed when Reagan was president. He said "Hell no, that's the mark of the beast." So when we have to renew our driver's licenses, or if they try to get us to take International ID"s, we have to be very aware of what is going on! Call me paranoid if you like, but I'd rather be paranoid than chance losing my soul. God bless.
JoAnn, politics aside, I think nothing will create a new world order more than our lust for money. I have always found it interesting that in the name of commerce we pursue business whereever it takes us. I have no problem with that. But in certain sectors we've done it to the point where our country is exposed and weakened. Politicians may catch up to it, but global finance and multi-national corporations were there long ago.
But maybe in some strange way this also serves a good. To remind us that we are all brothers and sisters.
Bulbajer: The UN is going to play a big part, since the powers that be (and I don't mean only Obama) are steering the US. towards a one world governance. The UN has already trumped some of our laws. It was the UN that reprimanded Arizona for the new law that Jan Brewer had signed last year. They slapped a Human Rights violation on Arizona. It was the UN, not Congress, that Obama went to for permission to put military aide in Libya. Research the "Responsibility to Protect Act." It is the UN that Obama solicits help from not our Congress. The first 2 yrs. that Obama was in office, Congress gave him everything he asked for to the extent that they have made themselves just about irrelevant. Sooo, keep a watchful eye on the UN. We will be hearing a lot more from them in the future. God bless.
Joe anne-I refer to thi old anarchists who brought forth Eugene Debs as a candidate for election ran from prison.Clarence Darrow and people of that ilk.We may not agree but they where clear on what they believed as compared to what we see today.Athiests many of them but they where not phonies.Today Catholic and free choice.It dont fit.At least if you dont believe abortion is evil it brhooves a person to say they are NOT CATHOLIC.This I dont understand.Same sex marriage and Catholic-Sorry.I dont understand the need to stay in the church-Mind-Catholic but betray it.The Pope on aug 29 said be honest better to get out.Now the Cardinal Dolan said a prayer at the convention.Good for him but I think a clear message as to you who believe and purport these ethics are out the door as regards Catholicism.The Cardinal is active socially.praying and dining-He needs his staff and his pen and lets properly document these folks departure from the Catholic church.Personally I prefer an honest athiest to a betraying catholic.It just fits better.Many of the free choicers they are Athiests at least they are honest.They know not what they do.That commentator I heard him he said I am catholic but I can dissent and be free choice.Revolting.Mind this Cardinal is not Papabalia.It was not the Cardinal who said that but a commentator the cardinal knows better.Judgemental-yes.I can live with that.But ultimately final judgement is way betond my pay grade and even the cardinals but one of these diners with thier soul in that state they choke on a chicken bone or whatever and pass on.Well I would not want to be where they are.Well the cardinal hes thier he can help if they want it or any other cleric.What a price they could pay for the fleeting glorys of this world.Duty calls and I must tend to my own issues.God bless all Stephen Round
JoAnn, Sorry you had "anther one of those nights". For me personally, those are the nights I know "I need to listen". Depending on my constitution, it's the Rosary, reading or writing like you. I did not watch the DNC because I knew it would be too distressful to our household. I have to work on myself by just "Letting go" once in a while, when it comes to Obama and his Godless lot. I do not take him or them personally. And I pray for them. It is just that they are the vehicles perhaps fulling the prophecy? And, they are the vehicles bringing about destruction. The thought occurred to me now in writing, that I should offer Thanksgiving to God that I am not One of those vehicles. But the thought also occurs to me, about all of our friends here at CO, who might be wrestling, or, their children might be wrestling w/Faith, over which way to go. And I am not talking politics here, as you know. I pray for Everyone, as do you.
It sounds like I did not miss much watching the DNC. I heard about Clinton's speech from my husband.
What do you think about the Rep. party Not liking, that Romney did not say more on matters at hand Globally. and left it wide open for the Dems to voice their opinion?
At this time, I am going to CO for Today's Daily Readings, Homily, (making a spiritual communion), Reading the St. of the Day, and if time permits, go a-wandering. For now, this is my blessing. I DO miss going Daily however...there is Nothing like the Church, Mass, and Holy Eucharist, and Nothing that can replace it in actuality. I am both glad and happy that you go Daily. You are twice blessed my friend.
St. Malachy, a few pgs. each night, does not get very far too fast. If I read, Especially at night, I tend to get sleepy. I now started reading where St. Malachy went to visit Bishop Malchus, so that he might learn holy things from him, as "...he was an old man full of days and virtues, and the wisdom of God was in him". p. 23
