check your facts. the hhs mandate requires all of us to pay/carry insurance that covers sterilization, abortion, and contraception. BTW...another fact check. The "pill" is an abortificant, as it does not prevent conception, but rather prevents the child from implanting in the womb.
The war can be deemed "just" or "unjust", I believe we do not have the facts. But the killing of children in the womb is wrong, and Obama worships at the altar of infanticide. This is not hatred, it is truth.
I have never seen so much hatred toward Obama - not even on Fox! Obama is NOT a Muslim nor does he favor them over any other religion. He believes in the right for all people to find their own salvation. As for the contraception (where do you get sterilization?) argument - how about the Quakers who don't believe in war? THEIR rights are being violated EVERY DAY by the Military Industrial Complex of the US. What about their rights? Should they not have to pay taxes since a big chunk of it goes to defense? It's been blown all out of proportion. I think this just all stems from an utter hatred for Obama. I will pray for you and hope one day you learn to love all people even the ones you disagree with.
For the love of God Catholics must be more vocal about our religious rights. If we do not protest adamantly we are agreeing to be murderers. I do not know how to incite a movement to encourage Catholic leaders to make a more vocal stand against the HHS Mandate; On Aug 1 our Catholic population was forced to abide by a law that is blatantly against our faith. I had "help wanted" signs crafted because we need God's help desperately. I have written to the American Bishops and to Carl Anderson, the supreme knight of the Knights of Columbus to request an organized protest. We cannot serve two masters, we either stand up for righteousness or we accept the law ias it is written. We all know the law is in direct contradiction to our beliefs. I have never forced anyone to live by Christian values. Why should I be forced to live by heretical immorality? Please, tell me how to initiate a public outcry. We are the arms and legs of our Saviour. We know right from wrong because the Bible, a 2,000 + year old teaching of God's word, tells us morally acceptable behavior. God made sure we have His written word; no accident occurred when the Word was handed down from generation to generation.
Re: Cindy: Why, when radicals hate what they are hearing, do they insist it is a lie or deception? Jefferson absolutely, most certainly held the first White House iftar. It's extremely well documented. You remind me of those "Christians" who get hysterical when presented with Jefferson's personally edited version of the Bible. There's no question Jefferson wasn't a Catholic and in the second half of his life he became less enchanted with the Episcopal Church, the church in which he was baptized and confirmed. He refused (SEE HIS HANDWRITTEN LETTERS) to be the godfather of his friend's child because he disavowed the Resurrection. Next time, before getting wild over something you don't like, why not do some research?
This Presidents ambiguities, hypocrisies, manipulations of word, thoughts and concepts are so practiced and polished that his religion is evidently about himself as THE power yielder. It is very evident that his complimentary ways to Islam at the same time as his attacks on Christian fundemental beliefs should be clear evidence that he doesn't hold Christ Divine, but another Prophet, like Mohammed. This contempt daily for our Christian belief of The Tinitarian God is not "freedom to choose religion for all, let alone the "freedom to exercise ones beliefs". This one-term president can be Muslim,should he choose, but he shouldn't masquerade as a Christian. Christ was, is and will eternally be LIFE. How can a person be about LIFE who publicly announces that if his daughters became child-bearing by accident or incident, he wouldn't want them to be inconvenienced and therefore would want abortion(the killing of LIFE) as a choice. Hell forbid that a child be in your way! A presidents position is about the Country in which he(she) serves and the other countries it affects, not about esteem of self. The Anti-Christ? We would all see it if he had three heads!
When it comes to freedom of religion, the only people who have that right, as far as Obama is concerned, are Muslims. He claims to be a Christian but observes all Muslim holidays and virtually ignores Christian holidays. By his own admission, while also denying it, he is a Muslim. On THIS WEEK WITH GEORGE STEPHANOPOLOUS a year or so back he said, "I'm guided by my Muslim faith." Stephanopolous quickly jumped in to help him cover up by saying, "You mean your Christian faith." To which Obama asked, "What?" Stephanopolous then repeated, "You mean your Christian faith." Obama then said, "Yes, I'm guided by my Christian faith." People make slips of the tongue all the time but no Christian would inadvertently call himself a Muslim any more than a Catholic would refer to themselves as a Baptist or a Lutheran.
He is better than Clinton at parsing words...probab;y getting ready to sell his approach to religion and using the same approach at the dinner at the Al Smith dinner. If he does i pray someone corrects him. From all his past records and visits to other countries, he has always seem to appease Muslins, but i do not recall any direct defense of the Roman Catholic Church.
Strange, To the Catholic he puts in the 'Doctrine of balaam"(stumbling block to God) & to the Muslim he issues "Politically Correct" statements of freedom & so in terms of speaking to a nation both Christian & Muslim, he shows himself to be Contradictory, not surprising for the Bible in Daniel says "He will not regard the God of his fathers, but a strange god" strange indeed, as seen neither for the Catholic Christian or for the Muslim but exhibiting the Quality of a Pagan, to that strange god mentioned.
We were guests at an Iftar meal along with a Methodist minister. We all shared our religious beliefs which are amazingliy similar. We all went back to our churches, synagogues, and mosques with more understanding and new friends. Try meeting your Muslim neighbors, you may be surprised at how much you have in common and how much they revere Jewish and Christian prophets.
