Just a bit of an update...when New York Catholic Charities was contacted and asked about this scandalous invitation of Obama, the person in charge stated that it was not her decision, but rather came directly from Cardinal Dolan. The "coach" is breaking the rules!

John the Baptist preached to Herod about his immoral relations with Herodias. Jesus accepted the meal invitations of the Pharisees and tax collectors to preach (dialogue) to them. We should always be hopeful that people, through our prayers and dialogue, will someday see the "light". We should continue to pray for the conversion of sinners.
Cardinal Dolan must rescind his invitation to Obama (re the Alfred E Smith dinner). If not, he sends out such mixed messages and continues to confuse the American Catholics. You CANNOT play and eat with the devil. Please go onto MilitantCatholictv.com and listen to Michael Voris as to how the American Catholic bishops are still way off base.
How can reasoning work on one like Obama whose mindset is pre-tuned to an Apostate against the moral & founding principles in whatever names, to the very reason that its works clash with the Catholic beliefs unto the very faith. In other words, as the Bible says " Not by his own power", but is by a delusion & for America to believe the lie being brought about, is in ignorance of the truth, that when faith is walled the future is stalled.
I am confused and outraged. Here he is explaining the dire consequences of Obamacare and then proceeds to invite the ABORTION PRESIDENT to the Al Sm ith dinner. Can you see the Cardinal and President Obama in a photo op shaking hands? The consequences of this invite has done much bewilderment and damage to the pro-life movement in the U.S.
Does fighting the good fight include Cardinal Dolan and New York Catholic Charities inviting Obama to their special dinner and fundraiser?

The Pope didnt appoint Timothy humbly for this posistion for nothing. My money is on the Lord and his servant Timothy Dolan. We need to continue to peacefully keep up the presure to not give into this mandate. Its not about the material like contraceptives etc. Its a conscience right at stake here. The right to choose wisely over bad decisions to which will hurt a nation eventually. The contraceptives are everywhere but it is just that a prescription and a material not the be all end all of human existence. When we purchase or not to purchase a good this is our right as well. We shouldnt be forced to buy into a culture which goes against our intrinsic rights and eithics. Christian or otherwise. Ive heard some people practice Natural Family Planning who arent necessarily Catholics this fight is for everyone.

Religious Liberty is working... The religious leaders advised catholics. Catholic owner of Hercules Industries appealed to the court (the place constitutional issues are handled) court issued an injunction(Hercules does not have to follow the law till the court decides) and the issue will be decided. The religious leaders have the liberty to file briefs in the court supporting Hercules and the court rules the law unconstitutional. Problem solved.
The following scenario will probably happen under Religious Liberty and freedom of conscience. Muslim religion permits a man to marry upto 4 wives. So can they then claim exemption from the one man one wife law under Religious LIberty.
The current HHS mandate says that the religious organizations are not paying the Contraceptive insurance premiums but will be covered like medicare and there is no compulsion to use contraceptives. Nobody has objected to Medicare on principle (the exception is based on cost)
