Gov. Jan Brewer Signs Law: Arizona Bans Funding for Planned Parenthood Comments

Our positive law has rejected the Natural Law Right to Life and its prohibition against these intentional homicides committed against our youngest neighbors through procured abortions. Until the positive law is changed to reflect the truth, our tax dollars must no longer be used to engage in this evil. We must defund Planned Parenthood now! We commend Governor Jan Brewer for signing the "Whole Woman's Health Funding Priority Act.' This is a ... Continue Reading

Amen! Jan Brewer for President! Please support her and her re-election campaign.

If you can you can make a difference by financially supporting pro-life candidates.

Interesting patron for their cause. Susan B. Anthony was a free thinker, not a believer. Here's a quote that I think explains just what Susan B. Anthony might think about this current club using her name. "What you should say to outsiders is that a Christian has neither more nor less rights in our Association than an atheist. When our platform becomes too narrow for people of all creeds and of no creeds, I myself shall not stand upon it. This club seems awfully narrow to me! Cheers! ~Mike

It's not universal healthcare, it's not help for the poor. It's an obsession with women and their reproductive CHOICES that catholics are enraged about.

    So sad.

I understand not supporting the branch of Planned Parenthood that supports abortion, but what about those branches within them that support poor women, many of which are also Catholic, in getting free healthcare, which in many cases Arizona is adamant in discontinuing for the poor. There are far and few clinics for poor women and men, starting a whole new clinic from the money that Planned Parenthood was defunded is just not financially viable, it would be great if there were a lot of clinics quickly available to take this funding and use it, but unfortunately their numbers are dwindling, & at times places such as Planned Parenthood are the only places available in the area. It is completely possible to give funds to one branch of its services, while requiring it to keep it from being used for other services, it is called compromise. Plus, we all know there are few Catholics anywhere that do not use some sort of reproductive service, it is great to idealize things, but lets be realistic for a moment, it would better benefit the faithful & aid them in their healthcare. Reproductive services are used to treat endometriosis, which is a highly painful disease, so by advocating against these then it is somehow saying that the pain and suffering of a great number of women in the church really doesn't matter much as long as an agenda of idealism is pushed. In no way am I attacking the faith, just the mixed up political ideals that don't reflect the realities of the devout. Or if we the Catholics are so against funding these types of places, why don't we take the collections money and set up free replacement clinics for the poor, or give up the Church's tax exemptions so that the government can have a little extra cash to fund more healthcare for the needy, really nobody who believes in the Lord should be against this. The Church should compromise and better adjust for the livelyhood of its faithful, because this doesn't help anyone, it just begins to push more and more out and onto other faiths.
