Homosexual Activists File Federal Lawsuit in Nevada to Oppose Marriage Comments

The Trojan Horse of Domestic Partnership and Civil Union legislation is a cog in a cultural revolutionary strategy. The case in Nevada is the first time that Lambda Legal has used a federal court to attack a State Constitutional amendment which defended marriage as between a man and a woman. They asked the Court to declare it unconstitutional and enjoin anyone from disagreeing. To limit marriage to heterosexual couples is not ... Continue Reading

Rob, wasn't it Sarah Palin that said, "Go along to get along"?? GOP Senator Blunt introduced a Bill to the Senate to overturn Barry Soetoro's mandate on the Catholic Church. Doesn't sound like money worshiping to me.

Vance: Informing post. Perhaps if you left Marxist out and just put Democratic Party, more people would give you the credence you deserve. I know, and you know, that the next step up the ladder from Liberal Democrat is Marxist Democrat. But most people, sadly are not aware of that. The average Joe does not like to think that Marxism can possibly be in America. The point you made on the Democratic Party of 1972 introducing Rights for Homosexuals and Legalized Abortion was Superb! Just that one sentence says volumes! It is then easy for Democrats to start to make the connect the dots, if they have not already, that this was the Turning Point for some reluctant republicans, and from that date until now, Ronald Reagan has been the greatest Republican President. Not a god Rob, a Great President! Easter Blessings...

Sadly vance, a lot of what you say is absolutely true. And with the other party worshipping money, there just is no one fighting for any of these issues. On another post you mentioned that the bishops seemed to be running scared. I think the same could be said about the GOP. As Ron Paul stated, "they go along to get along." That about sums up our politics these days.

This is cultural war. This is war on the Catholic Church and Christianity. Who are the enemy generals? Who are the financiers? Who are the Legal Support?? Who are the Propagandists?? In 1972, The Marxist Democrat Party Convention platform called for Homosexual Rights and Equality and Legalized Abortion. This was the "Formal Declaration of War on Christianity" Since then, the Marxist Democrat Party has engineered a coordinated attack with Hollywood and the Marxist Media Complex propagandizing Homosexuality 24/7 while their American Civil Liberties Union and Marxists Activist Judges provide the legal support and backing. The Marxist Democrat Party provides the Leadership and legislation to overturn Christian Culture and Traditions. If the Catholic Church refuses to comply with the legal mandates which are marriage and the muzzling of the Word of God, the Church will be "Punished" with fines, prison, and closure.

Deacon Keith: No argument from me! Superb article enlightening me even more on Obama's Cultural Revolution...or, to quote him in his 2008 campaign slogan, "We Need A Change"! Yes, he certainly has changed and is changing this country! And his administration certainly backs them ALL up. I was saddened but not surprised, to hear of the lawsuit in Nevada and the Lambda Legal Defense. The Trojan Horse, among all the other things happening so fast under this Obama administration, gets more scary by the day! What next? Asking for "Judicial Alchemy" is like asking for the moon! That is preposterous! But then, a lot of things this administration has done falls under that category and it passes like printed monopoly money. No wonder things are not the same! And that is on;y a tip his iceberg! Since Santorum had to suspend his campaign, you can bet your boots, I will remain a reluctant republican, Loyal to the GOP nominee! It seems to me, that that is the only thing voting Catholics can do...Easter Blessings...

While on some things you are correct. We should stop standing behind the state giving money to the poor as it isn't their place it is ours. It is a huge mistake how ever to stand by and let the state try and tell us what to do. You must realize how that will effect our Priests who have to follow the state laws when marrying us. We also can not stand by and let the innocent be murdered. We are suppose to stand up and proclaim the truth as we are the hands and feet of God

Rob: Deacon Keith's article said that the first teachers are The Parents. Surely you have conversations about abortions, Right To Life, PP, etc.? Sometimes, at our house, the topic could even rear its head at the dinner table! A school discussion had been brought home...What did you learn about in CCD or school today?...News...It presents itself like politics! And the Bishops have been coming out w/something almost weekly. Parents Must Assume Responsibility and not lay it on the Church. Nor should individuals use excuses for themselves by not taking Responsibility for their own action or inaction. If a person wants genuine help from the Church, the Church is there for them and will guide them. The key word here is Guidance. Holy Mother Church and all of her saints and holy men and women and martyrs know this. I know you have relationship w/your daughters. Good Parenting! Easter Blessings...

Juneau Alaska, the "Natural Law" doesn't change over time. No doubt, other things do, but not the Natural Law. Neither has God ceased to be the Lord and Creator of the human family and "Marriage" will always be between a man and a woman for the propagation of the human race. I know, there are "test tube" babies, etc., etc., but man has no "right" doing certain things, things contrary to the Natural Law. This intimate communion of actually "three parties" (one of whom is GOD!) that brings about a new human life may be supported by medical science for the life of the frail human being in the womb--just like we do after birth, but we have no right to "change" the order of "nature" in the relationship that is called "Marriage" between a man and a woman that is meant to bring new human life into this world!

I know this is a drum I keep beating, but while I commend the bishop's for standing up to these things, why is there no effort at the diocese level. I always believed that the best way to ensure my daughters would never get an abortion was to ensure they had a proper understanding of the Church's teachings on sexuality and marriage. It wasn't always easy to do this stuff, but both my wife and I were very committed to it. But I wonder why there isn't a similar response on the ground. Good solid marriage programs that provide good teaching up to the marriage date and support after are almost non-existent. And just a peek at the stats of divorce amongst Catholics doesn't show a whole lot of difference between the secular culture (very different with practicing Catholics). I just don't think we are serious about strong, healthy marriages that would be the only witness we would need. I feel the exact same way about all of these political fights. Just more political drama that will probably do nothing in the end and changes nothing at the parish level.

The civil wedlock will loose its signicance for christians first, and then very soon for everyone else. In the end it's the church they are after. Lot refused to give in to the demands of the gay lobby of his time, out of respect for God. There is nothing new under the sun. Let's not worry too much. The city will be destroyed.
