President Obama Makes Video Vowing to Protect Planned Parenthood Comments

Our current President has made his position crystal clear and has demonstrated time and time again that he will always defend Planned Parenthood; he will always defend abortion-on-demand, without restriction; he will always promote the culture of death.  He will even shred the constitutional rights of the Catholic Church and all people of faith.  Continue Reading

Just knowing that our current president is so supportive of the murder of innocent unborn babies makes my heart hurt and I know that our Lord Jesus is looking down on us feeling that same hurt. Our president is a reflection of the morals and values of our country. Why aren't more Catholics standing by Rick Santorum? Your lack of support and more importantly, VOTES, is why we are about to be forced to choose between the baby killer Obama and the Mormon Romney who also shrugs off abortion issues to keep pace with the moderates.

We need to stand together and put God first in everything we do in our lives. Electing a president to represent our country that embraces our faith and values will go a long way toward returning America to the Blessings it once enjoyed when we were One Nation Under God. Return to God and He will Bless you eternally. Continue supporting murder and filth in our nation and you will be choosing an eternity of death and suffering not just in this life, but in the next.

I pray more Catholics will wake up and show strength in numbers to support Rick Santorum.

Rob: President Obama is in love with the idea that contraceptives and abortion is a human right of passage for women. He as an advocate for this is more guilty than those who would take full advantage and use contraceptives and abortion as their right of passage. Those standing with him on this position are also guilty. The Catholic Church does not wish to be a party to the abomination of contraceptive and abortive practices. The President and his cohorts are forcing the Church and the entire country to approve his Mandate to approve of all of this and to make it permanent irrevocable law. That is criminal and both political parties are not standing up against this injustice as all government officials in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government are allowing for and ignoring all who oppose Roe vs Wade. The violation is one of obviously religious freedom and basic human rights not contraceptive so called rights. In time crucifixion has taken on to mean the mistreatment, murder and abortion of all innocents as well as the murder of Christ. That in my estimation is the point of all of this conflict. The press will never write what I have written here. If I am wrong in anything I have written in this post than I hope it won"t be posted.

DLL, what is your definition of secular? It sounds like a no-no word to you.

Additionally, your usage of the word subsequently implies you might favor a theocracy (union of State & Church) so I thought I would ask you to clarify.

II support the continued protection of the 1st Amendment proscribing an absolute separation of State and Church in the USA.

Jennifer is dead on with this article. And elcid is correct in the assessment that too many Catholics do not put the laws of God ahead of their political choices. Obama has proven himself to be a liar as he broke his promise to the Church with the HHS mandate. He defends Planned Parenthood but refuses to defend the Defense of Marriage Act. Those who claim to be Catholic need to seriously examine their consciences before voting for this pro-death occupant of the White House!

DLL, but we have to take this one step further. It's not enough, OBVIOUSLY, to vote in the opposing party. We have to hold their feet to the fire once they assume office. I think some politicians have become very comfortable not zealously purusing the repeal of Roe v Wade because they know that come voting time a pro-life person will not vote for the other side. So that really takes the pressure off them to do anything. We already know that the democrats will defend abortion, but if we don't have someone not only willing to lodge a fight, but a fight with everything they got, then we get nothing but status quo. And that is all a critically thinking person can honestly say about the state of affairs today. If Grover Norquist can get these guys to pledge never to raise taxes, why can't we get them to pursue the repeal of Roe with the same zeal and energy?

Never do I read from the secular press that anyone has any responsibility for their actions anymore. It is the contraceptive mentality that makes abortion a necessity. Sex is not the same as a kiss as the hippie culture in it's day would have you believe. It is not the Crosby,Stills and Nash song that sings,"If you can't be with the one you love, than love the one you are with". Sexual intercourse results in conception of a baby. A baby is not a tumor in a woman's body until it is born. The fetus is a living being. The mother and the fetus are two distinct human beings. The fetus is not a parasite either. When a man, woman have intercourse the pregnancy that results is their responsibility and the responsibility of all the members of any nation to help to see that the baby is a human being, with the same needs as any other human being. Abortion is not a human right and any one that proclaims this is a liar including a United States President. To see what I am saying in an uglier way, random sexual activity is the same as masturbation,as when abusing one self that same person is abusing another person as well for the purpose of their very own self gratification. It is the same as inviting another to share in ones own acting out of a very mortal sin. The end result is that an accidentally resulting pregnancy becomes an abortedly, tragically, terminated human life. Self control and chastity is the human and humane, human right that protects every living human being from every other one. Say no to President Obama! Say No that abortion is wrong not a right! Say no at the polls in November, say no more Obama as President of the United States of America. Say no to a dope who would dupe and dope all others into thinking the lie to be a human truth.

What did you expect, most Catholics voted for him. That hope and change is more important then children being killed. most catholics could care less about the unborn, ask the person next to you at church about the subject and you get a blank stair. also ask about the love of Christ you get the same response.. then they go back to sleep

Of course "women's health" is referring to abortion; nobody objects to health care for women (mammograms, pap smears, prenatal care, etc.), but people do oppose abortion. Catholic hospitals take people in even if they cannot pay or haven't paid their last bill yet. They give people they health care they need.

By doing this HHS mandate, Obama is trying to end religious freedom and make way for the government to have lots of power, like a communist regime. First it's going to be the issues that aren't so popular (contraception) and slowly it will be against all religious beliefs, so nobody is allowed to practice their faith. And then once faith is gone, the government has total control to decide what people are allowed to believe, and the "morals" that are taught in schools. I can even see homeschooling being banned, all children must attend an approved government school so they aren't "deprived" of the information they "need" about abortion and contraception, so they can all grow up to be narcissistic, self-absorbed individuals. The government will also force the abortion of disabled children, and euthanasia (genocide) for the elderly and disabled who are no longer or not able to "contribute" to society in the way the government thinks they should. Some modern "ethicists" have paved the way for infanticide and genocide of some disabled individuals on the bases of "self-awareness" and "quality of life."

If you think we're being conspiracy theorists, look at 20th century Europe. The Nazis did exactly what was described above: killed "undesirable" people and forced young people to join Hitler youth so they could be indoctrinated with Nazi beliefs. In the Soviet Union, atheism was enforced so extensively that thousands of Christians were murdered for practicing and refusing to renounce their faith.

Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it, and I think most Americans are both ignorant of history and incapable of basic logic skills (can be talked into just about anything, as long as it's on TV enough times, and is slowly pushed onto them).

Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger in 1916....Reading her autbiography makes me think of Hitler and how he tried to have a superior race. Sanger makes statements like "the most important step toward race embetterment " . Read Michelle Malkin's article "to Stop The Multiplication of the Unfit". It is amazing that any woman or American would support this kind of genecide!
