Will: The Bishops are very much involved. If you have only been listening to the main-stream media, you will not hear of it. Cardinal Dolan has actually been to the WH fighting this injustice and Obama refuses to back down. Obama actually had the gall to tell Cardinal Dolan that they will pick more "enlightened" priests and bishops to run the Church. Of course, Obama is talking about all the "Rogues" or "enemies within the Church that support Obama and his Marxist policies. Is anyone aware that JP Morgan/Chase has shut down the Vatican bank accounts? God bless.
I would encourage a reading of the books of Maccabees, specifically 1 Mc 1; 1 Mc 2:15-48; and 2 Mc 6:18-7:42. It seems to me that we are in the same situation as the Israelites.

This article has pointed out something that I have been feeling for a long time. The government is trying to grow, and those with anti church teaching agendas do constantly try to silence their opponents. The truth however is that the government can not become a chuch equivelent, it is incapable of being self sustaining. The Obama Administration does seem to have ideology that is very opposed to the Catholic Church. Now that being said, with the Rush Limbough deal, I still think that this girl should not have been in front of Congress. It is rediculous that one girl who affirmend the administartions reasoning was put in front of Congress. From what I have found, the congress hasnt heard from the Bishops, who is this girl to testify to congress and not the Bishops. The Bishops would prove that this mandate is unjust and that is why this girl was given this opportunity. It is wrong that some nobody of a class of many was choosen and bishops arent.
May I offer this to the discussion? It gives some more context to "freedom of worship."

If one believes that Christ Jesus is the Incarnation of the Living God,than one has no choice but to exclaim that the Holy Catholic Christian Church is the One True Church and that Christianity is the one True Faith. All roads lead to Christ. All Faith is Christ. The entire Bible is the Word of God and it proclaims the Word of God that became Flesh and lives today through the Power of the Holy Spirit to illumine all of Humankind. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all of Humanity. I can't think of a way to write this any more simply than the way I have written it here. At the same time these words are still the words of controversy. It seems that every man wants his own legacy and that his own sense of truth be known as he would see it fit. Human kind in it's own sense of unkindness to each other,somehow each wants to proclaim themselves each to be a one of a kind. Humanity is fickle and strange to itself no more than strangers to each other as a result. This is sad. Life in truth is a celebration of Faith,a Faith that specifically proclaims that God is Love! Love never Dies!
Where are all of those "conservatives" in the GOP when President Obama openly challenges our Constitution and threatens the freedoms of all Americans? Can it be that they are "conservative" only when they are running for reelection, and cowardly politicians who are unwilling to take on a president who has the support of the media? Why haven't we heard the 'i" word (impeach) from the "conservatves"?

Quiet deceitful is Obama & his over ambitious Secretary of state, where their definition of worship is to "Spiritualism" & not to 'Faith", where that faith which is In Christ remains not by itself but through the expression in every walk of life in the works & having no deceit in it, unlike their brand of Spiritualism to self centership & deceit, sitting crosslegged, chanting IN self-gratification to self-elevating, using every abomination in the antithesis to God, no doubt - pagan indeed, to what the Bible calls, to "Spiritual Harlotry" . To this their promotion of "freedom to worship" is likened unto the devil using the scriptures to tempt, in the same deceit he got at the woman in the garden, for lo, in all their doings they cater to as the Bible says of the manner "Principalities & powers, rulers of darkness, wickedness in heavenly places" into eternal bondage against life.
Randy Sly, how right you were and how right you are on the 'War of Words'. Obama and the Marxist Democrat Party are very predictable. I remember Obama's speech when he used that term 'Freedom of Worship'. When a Despot speaks, he means power and control over people. Obama and the Marxist Party have made it abundantly clear that they hate the Catholic Church, Christianity, religious traditions and America. This latest HHS mandate makes it abundantly clear which direction Obama is headed. First, rid the country of Church Institutions. Then rid the country of churches. It happened in Mexico 1920-1940.
