Obamacare and $1 Abortions: Latest Rule Requires an 'Abortion Surcharge' Comments

Forget all the promises Obama made about not subsidizing abortion; about people not having to pay for abortions if they didn't want to.  Forget all the speeches in which pro-lifers were ridiculed and hollered at for "lying" that Obamacare would fund abortions.  Forget the Executive Order. The latest rule to be finalized regarding Obamacare mandates $1 abortions.  Don't want to pay it?  Too bad.  Continue Reading

This reminds me of the Egyptian Midwives. They refused to carry out the order of Pharaoh to kill the Hebrew boys at birth. Because of their courage, because they were God-fearing women, God dealt well with them. God built up families for them (Exodus 1:19-22).
We do need God-fearing American midwives, physicians, nurses, social workers today to gain God's favor for our nation.
God will take care of people who want to act like Pharaoh! But God does need to have someone like Pharaoh's daughter to raise for Him a modern Moses.

At this point, a vote for Obama is like saying you would have voted Hitler into a second term and justify it by saying "I'm just not a one issue voter". Hitler was voted in democratically on a platform of "change", pulled Germany out of a economic depression and reformed government social services but there was that whole holocaust thing. As a Christian, saying you aren't a one issue voter (meaning the issue of abortion) is like saying you would vote for Hitler a second time (hypothetically speaking of course) regardless of the holocaust b/c his other policies did so much good. How can anyone rationalize this? It amazes me that anyone could have been so blind to his agenda before he was even elected pres. All anyone had to do was look at his record. Do people read history book anymore? "Those who don't learn from history are destine to repeat it." The ignorance is astounding.

Abortion for a buck!! What a deal. Does this mean we can go to our local 99 cent stores and get an abortion? Doesn't this cause a Thinking Person to pause and take a second look at who we have in the White House and Senate? This is abject evil. Is there any other word to describe it. I realize that there are millions of deceived Catholics who will excuse Obama as a guy who doesn't know what he is doing? OK, so he is a dumb guy like they called George Bush. Oh no, not that because he is the smartest guy in the universe. So, if he is the smartest guy in the universe, then he knows what he is doing? If he is doing something evil, then this must mean that he is an evil man?

To all senior citizens out there: You would be very wise to vote Obama and his administration out of office so that Obamacare can be repealed. One good reason among MANY to get Obama out of office is, Obama means to DISCONTINUE Medicare as we know it and incorporate it into Obamacare. I'm sure I don't have to elaborate on the many ramifications that move will have. We will be paying for abortions too. At least the Republican party means to try and save Medicare and SS. We have to be adult enough to know that Medicare and SS have to be "revamped" to save it and it may require some sacrificing on our part. But I'm sure all of you, as well as I, are willing to sacrifice for the benefit of our children and grandchildren. We can pray that when Obamacare comes before the Supreme Court, they will rule that it is unconstitutional. If they do not, the only alternative we will have left is to get Obama out of Washington. The new slogan now is: OMG. Obama Must Go. BUT my friends, we HAVE to get a majority in both houses ALSO or whatever a conservative president tries to do, it will be blocked. God bless.

Uh vance, maxine, you guys were here right when our our money men almost destroyed this country right? The wolves are already in the hen house. They don't need Sorors, just politicians friendly to their cause. At the present, this appears to be ALL OF THEM. Just follow the money.

Bart Stupak is a member of The Knights of Columbus. The Knights fully support the right to life and put a great deal of resources to protect the lives of those in the womb. Mr Stupak's profound betrayal of his faith and his fellow knights was stunning. His next move after casting a decisive vote for ObamaCare was to announce that he would not run for congress again. These moves gives us all we need to know about Mr Stupak's character!

Thank you for this. I just want to add that if you manage to read to page 630 of the source material at ofr.gov you discover that the $1 is a minimum. The other language in the section suggests that it will be significantly more, at least over time, as if that makes any difference.

    I will not obey.

Maxine Spates, I'm with you. This country is waking up but not enough. Yes, it is George Soros who is the Multi Billionaire Communist who bought and paid for the Marxist Democrat Party according to his own words back in 2006. He and his "Move-on.Org" were crowing when Reid and Pelosi took power in the congress. The rest is history. Keep up the good posts.
