Santorum declares that Obama is beholden to 'radical environmentalists' Comments
Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has made a series of bold statements that casts U.S. President Barack Obama in a most unflattering light. Santorum says Obama is beholden to "radical environmentalists" and has "a world view that elevates the earth above man." Furthermore, Santorum maintains that Obama practices "a different theology" that is "not a theology based on the Bible." Continue Reading

Earth was made for Man & not man for the earth, clearly understood from its usages, a mother does not worship the child but nurtures it, so is the case with man & earth, to tend it reflecting the job given to Adam & Eve to the garden of Eden, not to be worshiped as mother earth etc, which incidentally seems brought in from the heartland of Britain to secularism, against faith, in the way of worshiping the created instead of the Creator, the Creator in the eternal instead of the earth which is not forever. Even in terms of Biblical theology, a man of GOD is one who goes by the will of God, & if Obama sanctifies "Strange Flesh" against the most basic structure of the family, it takes a fool to believe him to be a Christian In Christ, unless he means some other Christ, a krisn'a for example. Santorum is right about Obama, even to the faith.
I know this question has more to do with healthcare than it does environmental activism, but since the article brough up testing prior to the baby being born, I think I will ask. Let's assume you are a middle income American who has average or even great health insurance through your employer. Let's further assume that you baby is born with a genetic abnormality or birth defect that will be very costly in care. Let's say your income is $50K a year but I bet this situation would apply to even incomes much higher. If you lose your job, how do you pay for the care of this child? There will be no government plan for you and good luck getting past the pre-existing condition protections that will be jettisoned when the ACA is repealed. I understand the whole big government/small government arguement. But at what point are we going to acknowledge some of the implications of what we are asking people to do? I understand Santorum wants to repeal the ACA, but what is his replacement? The status quo where someone in my example would just be out of luck? What sort of health care plan is he going to promote for the first economy? Because I'll I hear thus far is repeal, repeal, repeal. I'm sure as an ex-Senator he's probably got the best healthcare our tax dollars can buy, but what about the rest of us?
"He criticized the idea of requiring insurance plans to cover amniocentesis, a prenatal test used to detect fetal maladies."
I completely agree. Amniocentesis can actually cause a miscarriage, because there is a chance the test can disrupt amniotic fluid... I am pregnant right now in my second trimester and there was a lot I did not understand until now when I am currently going through it. What makes me sick is abortion is legal in most states up until 23 weeks. I had a 4-D at 17 weeks and my baby is a baby (life). My husband and I could point out what features our baby received from each of us. They should make 4-D's required... It really puts everything into prospective. Santorium 2012 :).
"Santorum says Obama is beholden to 'radical environmentalists' and has 'a world view that elevates the earth above man.'" Is this really a surprise to anyone? Just look at the Keystone pipeline debacle.
