   Rob, yeah right, The government is really going to take care of you. Medicare currently pays 30 cents on the dollar to doctors and med clinics. Doctors and med clinics are refusing to take any new Medicare patients because they are going broke. Your Dear Leader just stripped a 1/2 Trillion dollars from Medicare. And now he is pushing for the Payroll Tax Cut which will defund Medicare even further. Now, let's throw on the 'Anchor Baby' costs from Medicaid which comes from Medicare Funds. This decreases the money pool further. So here we have a deliberately broken system and you're saying that Obama's status quo is just the right answer. That's right, let's have that great Communist system that everyone is fleeing from.

   It is during our elderly years where we will incurr the highest medical costs in our lifetime. That is why folks do not want to see medicare dismantled because we all know that these costs are outside of the reach of the majority of Americans and insurance companies will not cover these charges in full. If insurance companies had to bear the full burden of the elderly, our rates would be astromonical. That is what is so dangerous about the Ryan plan. They leave part of the financing of this care to investments. Hope you don't get sick when the next wall street bubble pops. Need a quadruple bypass, well let's see what you got in your health care savings account? Nothing, sorry. I can just see them rounding up folks in the skilled nuring facility after a crash telling them their health savings accounts are gone. Time to discharge. I think if we've got trillions to use bombs to make gravel in third world countries, I think we have the money to pay for healthcare.

   Trevor, Obamacare already spelled out what plan they have for the elderly. It's called RATIONING. You will be RATIONED to death because you are old and too expensive. Forget the heart by passes and the organ transplants. You are old and going to die anyway. Forget the knee replacements, just wear crutches and take pain meds. This is what the Marxist Democrat Party of Death has in mind for you and me.

   This is the BEST article I have read on the issue. This life issue is being decided on dollars and cents and cost-effectiveness. No one ever said having children is inexpensive, but
   then life IS precious and a great gift of God. How much are infertile couples willing to spend on medical treatments? Ask them how they value a child. Ask adoptive parents
   what the value of a child is.
   
   Our government is making decisions for our families and asking us to bear the costs. As pointed out in your article, neither the insurance companies or the drug companies are going to give contraceptives away for free. If not us, who is picking up this bill?
   
   What ever happed to the concept of personal responsibility? If you choose not to have children, then you should shoulder the costs of contraception.
   
   Does Obama Health Care mandate insurance coverage for pregnancy and maternity care?
