How can not a child be a person ? Unfortunately feminists like Debbie reject the fruits of the Spirit in order to serve themselves & their masters ,personal & political ends, not understanding the truth & seriousness of these matters, based on a narrow mind calling it "Extremist" ,a word so used in the order of their whims & fancies, unaware that they themselves become embedded in it, & the resultant shown in their words & works.The so called Child is the product of a union & not by themselves, so their self rights to it is not in the fullness. Show it to a lioness & see her rage. Animals some times have more sense than some humans.

Good article! You expressed the position of our Church well.
It is unfortunate that some Bishops in Mississippi don't support the Personhood amendment.
Their message seems to be "do what you want, but we don't support it".

It is impossible to combat her arguments with REASON. The whole "born gay" argument, and atheist argument rampant in the media is not LOGICAL, is not based on SCIENCE, and is only put forth like a "burp" to make a sound and say SOMETHING/ANYTHING because anything will suffice to provide an EXCUSE - which is all it is. An excuse to follow one's desires without guilt. The ONLY WAY to combat these people is with OUR PEOPLE.
Sadly, the sex scandal, and decades of torpidity have weakened the Church. So, well, we lose. And when we lose, the whole society loses. I strongly recommend reading St.Thomas More's "Tower Writings" smuggled out by his daughter written with charcoal.
St. Thomas blames the Christians for not living the christian life as the cause for the social evils of his day - or at least that is my reading of his work. Circle the wagons !! prepare the underground communication network. The Antichrist is in ascendancy. ...Now what's for lunch??

I do not know whether you have any children of your own but, if you do, do you remember thinking of them as of fetuses while you were carrying them in your womb? Would any woman doubt whether the little child in her womb would come out looking as anything other than a human being? Debbie, please, open your eyes, but mainly, open your heart. God loves every one of us, whether in the beginning stages of our lives or at the last stages of our lives - and He loves you endlessly. Why would you support killing these little innocent children? For what reason? Isn't there enough room for them in this world? There was room for you, wasn't there?
God bless you, Debbie, make He soften your heart and open your eyes.
