Does the introduction of Gay agendas, by Obama & the democrats, particularily in the Military with fun & fare , help to solve this problem, other than aggravating it. It is time to redefine problems & solutions. Tackling a problem can only be done at its root. Its answers are biblical, generally stated in one word "Sin".
Morals and conduct were a big part of the Military at one time. Rumsfeld can be critiicised for many other things but human conduct and honor were always a military asset. The larger attitude of our society which considers sexual encounters as something to eat like candy rather than a sin. Rape however is a power play and is more liken to bullying than sex. The sad thing is the treatment of the victim. The term " no excuse " says it all for the conduct of the officers and defense department officials that treat the victim as the culprit. We in the Catholic Church have learned that coverups do not solve the issue. There is"no excuse" for bad and dishonorable conduct. The honorable thing to do is face the issue openly and honorably by treating the victim with respect and to handle each incident not as a reportable nightmare but the crime it is. Duty and honor should still mean something.
