Federal Court Orders Ten Commandments Removed From Florida Courthouse Comments
The decision is an example of governmental hostility toward religious faith and religious symbols in the public square. The effort to scrub the public square of such religious expression is a threat to religious freedom, runs contrary to our founding documents, and is unfaithful to our history as a free people. It represents an incorrect application of the Establishment Clause and is a form of religious ... Continue Reading

THE FOUNDING FATHERS FOUNDED THE NATION ON CHRISTIAN VALUES, WHICH ARE BASED ON THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
REMOVE THEM, AND LOGICALLY, THERE IS NO NATION!
I'm glad that this fight continues and we have good and faithful lawyers who take this up. But I think we fail to grasp what the real problem is. The problem isn't really about some rock in front of the courthouse. As we all know, it's the growing hostility towards Christianity, or worse, indifference. We all know where the non-believers of the world stand...no suprises there. But as Christians who are called to evangelize but fail to do so because of indifference. I think it's indifference towards Christianity that we need to be much more concerned with. Particularly when you consider that the majority of this indifference comes from within. We spend so much darn energy worrying about what this court does, that politician does etc and we never take a step back and ask why is this even happening? We act as if the courts or the laws made by man are somehow going to save this country. I have always found it odd that the things we point to as the problems in this country (courts, politicians etc) are the same things we run to in an attempt to fix these problems. What I am not hearing from our church, the catholic media etc is a call to evangelize. How about a call to try and bring more people to Christ? Heck I would settle for a call to evangelize the people in our own pews. I hear calls all the time for our priest and bishops to be more forceful about pointing out all the ills of our society, but I would much rather they take up more strongly the great commission. Seems to me that when you have devoted followers of Christ who are trying their hardest to be good disciples, all of these social ills really take care of themselves. And like the early chruch, people are attracked by the way you live your life. But in many ways today, we are no different than the non-believers who are attacking the church. The same legal board that they try to use to beat us over the head, we merely pick up and try to beat them back. Maybe it makes us feel better or satisfies some aspect of our ego, but is it leading people to our Lord? As we take up these fights, are people seeing Christ or our egos? If we aren't asking that question of ourselves in all our daily activities, then what's the point? What really is the point of any of this?
This is another victory for anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ Litigation Union ( ACLU ) is satan's sock puppet that continues its jihad against Christ. This is what we get when we vote Marxist Democrats into office. They appoint Marxists to the Court Benches and they in turn legislate from the bench. The people can impeach judges. The judge that ruled in favor of the ACLU should be impeached.
"IF WE FORGET THAT WE ARE ONE NATION UNDER GOD, THEN WE WILL BE A NATION GONE UNDER. RONALD REAGAN.
Good why be a hypocrite anyway..at the entrance to the court house in Nurenberg was a copy of the same 10 commandments...it was left up even tho no one was allowed to follow it during the great national socialist war against Christianity..the same in many ways with good ole Rock Hudson..he was portrayed as a great lover of women and all the while he was a homosexual that used to invite young male teens over to his estate and seduce them and the media never told us of that till ole Rock died of Aids..I call aids the Rock Hudson disease in his 'honor' and so it goes with the ten commandments in the story abpve//America is controlled by secular humanists and that is the official religion of the once great nation,so down go the 10 commandments and up goes the flag of satan..do your own thing just as long it is not endorsed by Jesus.
The "Separation of Church and State" means that the State cannot force a particular religion upon the people. The "Separation of Church and State" means that the State must defend the right of the people to believe in their religion. Every day, people like the ACLU, are trying to change what this means and chip away at our religious freedom. Today, it is the Ten Commandments. I tremble to think what it will be tomorrow. If one, ten,. 100 or 1000 people said, "enough, we are tired of the ACLU dictating to the USA what is acceptable" then we would win this battle. They keep challenging with their big pocket books because Christians are too cowardly and busy (with their heads peeled at the tv screen. Or computer. Yes, I'm pointing the finger at myself too). We need to get uncomfortable, make the calls, stand at the corner with our signs and defend our religious freedom.
The law and the Law of the Ten Commandments stand hand in hand, they benefit one another. its actually unfair to remove them as that is taking the instructions away.
The ten commandments is the foundation of true justice. They are as laws,a banner of justice for those who believe in a fair and equal justice for all. If they are not a part of American History than America has certainly died as a country,a slow death over a 30year period and continues to die still,as it as a nation it is now uprooted and becoming increasingly unstable. Secular humanism (ACLU)is destroying America. Skewed logic has replaced what used to be called common sense. A Nation without God is a non-entity as it is at best,a fine garden full of flower choking weeds.
This just goes to show how blatantly anti-Christian the federal government has become. Perhaps more Southerners will rally support behind our own states' secession- seperation before servitude!
Nowhere in the Constitution does it say it's the job of the courts to interpret the Constitution. Time after time after time, Thomas Jefferson expressed his fear of usurpation of authority by the courts. It had been done all through history, and he KNEW the temptation would be too great here, too. It's time we put them back in their box.
