US Bishops Denounce New Ways Ministry, Condemn 'Marriage Equality' Book Comments

New Ways Ministry has have actively and aggressively opposed efforts to defend marriage in direct opposition to the formal support of the defense of marriage by the Catholic Church and the crystal clarity of the teaching of the Church. The Bishops of the US state 'in no manner is this organization authorized to speak on behalf of the Catholic Church or to identify itself as a Catholic organization'. Continue Reading

I'm not surprise this is coming up. Of course, the church is both of saints and sinners. What i suggest is that the Bishops involve should look critically into it and separate the bad eggs from the good. My joy is that the church can not fall.

Another great article. Contrary to Andrew, your article informs we Catholic about what is happening within the Church. New Ways Ministry is another 'Diabolical' lure to draw people away from the faith. Many of these deceptive satanic scemes attempt to pervert and dilute the faith behind the disguise of being 'Good Catholics'. This is especially worse on those who are vulnerable to same-sex attraction. These people are deceived into believing that they can "have their cake and eat too". Bravo to the Bishops for coming down on these diabolics.

Leviticus 18:22 (RSV): "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."

This article was helpful. I have heard rumours that this group was "catholic" and I had concerns. Thank you for circulating this article. It was very helpful.

KC - by referring to Catholic homosexuals as "those perverts" you're falling into every stereotype of a gay-bashing Christian.

The only way to become man and wife is through marriage. Holy Matrimony.
Anything else is simply a union. Partners for life is just that - Partners.
There is no need to change the time honored definition, because anything else would be a fallacy of composition.

No one has authority to establish "New Ways " for catholics. We catholics believe in Jesus Christ and HIs Church. These perverts are intending to confuse the gullible christians and to destroy the Catholic Church. Catholic Church is the creation of God Almighty and loving Father of all and no "New Ways" can prevail against it. The parishes must organise awareness meetings and the hollowness of these perverts must be exposed. May dedicated priests and lay persons come forward

Non issues should be treated as just that. I find it below average intelligence when they become the most commented, most rated or most viewed and it wouldn't surprise me if this article doesn't become one. It's never an act of courage in my opinion to dance with the devil all the time.
