   WHAT INSPIRES ME OF POPE JOHN PAUL II IS THAT, HE HAS BEEN A TRUE CHRISTIAN AND FOLLOWER OF CHRIST IN WORD AND DEED. HE ATE, DRANK AND DIGESTED CHRIST TEACHING. ITS BEEN A STRUGGLE FROM HIS CHILDHOOD DAYS TO THE DAY OF HIS DEATH DUE TO PARKINSON DISEASE, LIKE JESUS BIRTH IN A MANGER TO CRUCIFIXION ON THE CROSS. AS JESUS FORGAVE THE THIEVES ON THE CROSS, POPE JOHN PAUL ALSO FORGAVE HIS OFFENDERS WHO HAD GUNNED HIM. JESUS SENT HIS DISCIPLES TO GO FAR AND WIDE TO PROCLAIM THE WORD OF GOD AND POPE JOHN PAUL II EVEN VISITED THE MOSQUES,INTER RELIGIOUS MEET, TRAVELED EXTENSIVELY AS NO OTHER POPE HAD EVER DONE AND SPOKE IN MAXIMUM NUMBER OF LANGUAGES LIKE NO OTHER POPE HAD EVER DONE.HIS DEEP DEVOTION TO MARY AND JESUS BY RECITING ROSARY AND PRAYERS HAD ACHIEVED THE IMPOSSIBLE AND ALSO OFFERED MANKIND TO THE DIVINE MERCY. LIKE JESUS WHO WAS BOLD AND PASSIONATE ABOUT TEACHING THE WORD OF GOD, POPE JOHN PAUL II ALSO HAD THE COURAGE TO STAND UP PROCLAIM THE MESSAGE OF GOD. HE TAUGHT JESUS CHRIST AS THE PATH FOR UNIVERSAL FREEDOM. WHAT EVEN MORE INSPIRES ME IS THAT POPE JOHN PAUL II ALMOST SINGLE HANDED TRANSFORMED THE WORLD TOWARDS CHRIST. FINALLY MY SON FRANKLIN BIRTHDAY ON 04.04.2005 ALWAYS REMINDS ME DATE CLOSE TO THE DEATH DAY OF POPE JOHN PAUL II WHO BREATHED HIS LAST ON 02.04.2005.

   Pope John Paul 2nd was a man i always and still look up too . He is my role model, no other man would be like him , i love him with all my heart .When he becomes a saint , he should be called Saint Pope John Paul 2nd " patron saint of life" he was a man everybody loved , not just catholics but all religions. I know he is in heaven looking down upon us . The thing he said that i always kept in my heart was

   This summer, in our parish we have stopped our study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (Vat. 2nd. Ed.) and have taken up the reading/study of Blessed Pope John Paul II's Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation: "The Lay Members of Christ's Faithful People." Reading his writings seems a good way to honor God and the Blessed Pontiff. He wrote this document especially to us, the laity....(If anyone is interested, the document can be located on the Vatican web page.... Once one starts reading these documents that the Blessed Pope wrote, one tends to move on to one after the other; they are deeply moving--the better word is "inspired."....

   It is rather surprising that this Beatification of Pope John Paul II has been so quickly done. What I'd like to witness is When would A 'Coloured' Pope be chosen at the Vatican because all of them are from European countries only rather than a Third world country or other than European

   Pope John Paul II was the chosen of the Lord who created all. not need to be moot!. he have done many that may be sufficient basis. mainly in the Catholic listened to him, those who love, respect him because of his greatness.
