Al-Qaeda of Iraq Calls Pope 'Hallucinating Tyrant of the Vatican', Threatens 'Killing Sword' Comments

What is increasingly clear is that those behind the massacre of Catholics with their priests, during the celebration of Holy Mass at Our Lady of Deliverance in Baghdad last Sunday, are not finished with their evil. We once again invite our readers around the world to pray for those who mourn, pray for the Pope, and pray for the conversion of the perpetrators of this evil. Serious times demand serious responses.  Continue Reading

Why are these threats not considered a "declaration of war"?

sadly, the world is turning a blind eye to what is happning to our catholic brothers in iraq and other muslim-dominated states...islam doesn't reflect peace in the christian connotation of the world. Is everywhere..from Turkey,. sudan morrocco, nigeria and on to iraq.

my pains and tears is that europe is providing a safe haven for them to thrive. But i know one thing|: The blood of our brothers will never cease crying to heaven for justice. the blood is the foundatiion upon which the church is thriving. Christ mean't his world: The gate of hell will never prevail against her

Saddam Hussain chemically gassed the Kurds, and the US deposed him. The US helped against the genocide of the Muslims in the Chec Republic. Ask Obama (as Commander in Chief) what he is going to do in Iraq to protect the Christians.

Unless the patient is willing, it becomes impossible for the doctor to treat a cancer. If it is your arm that causes you to sin, cut it off and earn the right to enter heaven without an arm. Muslims must acknowledge that they are rotting from within.

Turn the other cheek, but don't turn your backside. This is a religion of brutes, back shooters, and tyrants, that ought not be allowed to function in our free society. DECLARE ISLAM TO BE A POLITICAL/ECONOMIC IDEOLOGY LIKE COMMUNISM THEN OUTLAW IT IN CIVILIZED COUNTRIES. That is our only hope!! as I read in a recent column "calling this blood thirsty tiger a bunny rabbit will not make it one."

God Blessed us with intelligence now let's use it!!!

There is a limit to these barbaric acts of islamic terrorsm. God is doing the cleansing on good and evil irrespective of muslims or christians. God is testing our faith in Him. If you read the Old Testaments, God allowed His people to be killed and suffered so that they would search for Him. But there was also a limit to God's anger. God sent down disasters to these destroyers of His creation. The followers of Islam will never find peace and love even among themselves. They kill each other because of power and greed. Islam will never dominate the world because of its teaching and conversion by the "sword". They themselves are infidels as well as their Allah. Their Allah encourages killing according to the teaching of koran while the christian God forbids taking away human lives. I pray for all moderate muslims to turn to the true God of mercy and compassion and get out of the religion that promote terrorism. This terrorist group has tainted the bad name for Islam with terrorism and evil. These muslim terrorists promote islamophobia through their acts of terrorism. Blame themselves and let them be accountable for the "jihad". It may be God's will that all these may happen so that finally good will overcome evil. Persecution on christians will make way for more conversion to chrstianity. Church history has shown that. Christian brothers and sisters in the Lord, be strong in your faith. Our life on earth is short. When we leave this world, we live everything behind.

Thanks for another good article Deacon. Fr. Thomas is right. We must pray daily to St. Michael the Archangel, the great defender of the Church. I do, along with morning mass and the daily rosary. To these prayers I add this:" Lord, if you will not to convert these people today please send your holy angels to restrain them from all forms of violence" Christ has the power to restrain evil even when He doesn't remove it.

There is such a thing as a just war. A call to arms to destroy these evil muslims must be made. They are servents of the devil. Western nations were in best position to do this, but they are tangled up in secularism, liberalism, and marxism. Those are the seeds that Satan is trying to leave to weaken the culture before he strikes with his agents which are the muslims. Christains in the middle east are defensless now.
