She offered herself for the building up of the Church, the People of God and the Mystical Body of Christ. That is truly a vocation of love, a love which is bound up in the Supreme Love, our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. The Little Flower's life was one of beauty, joy, and wonder, a life which continues to ... Continue Reading

I am teaching my children about St. Theresa using the Catholic Treasure books by the Maryknoll Sisters. They have her story over the first 6 books. They are so beautifully illustrate her life and her "little way". I was so glad to receive book 6 so we can read about St. Theresa tonight at prayer time on this feast of St. Theresa! We talked about her this morning on the way to school and I asked them to try to remember how they can do little things for the love of Jesus by trying to listen when they want to tune out their teacher, by giving up a toy they want that another child wants. I pray that today they might remember an opportunity to practice her "little way". I offer my prayers of Thanksgiving to you St. Theresa of the Child of Jesus! Thank you for showing us how to love our Lord and each other!
I am the youngest of of nine children, our family is so devoted to SAINT THERESA OF THE CHILD JESUS and I love to pray the 24 glories of SAINT THEARESE. I remember, when my mama went to her bed and sleep the picture of SAINT THERESA OF THE CHILD JESUS IS ALWAYS AT HER SIDE. That is why when my mom died she looks like SAINT THEARESE . She has a very pretty face it is because she is also wearing her full habit of CARMEL because she is a member of OUR LADY OF CARMEL not only a member but a very devoted to our BLESSED MOTHER OF CARMEL the same with my papa. I always thank SAINT THEARESE OF THE CHILD JESUS of her intercession to our prayers.. . . . .
A happy feast to all Cloistered Carmelites. Your prayers have helped lighten our Lord's burden. God in turn will give you health as well as forgive you, a step that will take you closer to Him.
