Why did a majority of voting catholics vote for obama? Considering that his stance is pro abortion and pro extreme abortion techniques. Why would ANY catholic vote for such a person?
Not only does Obama support abortion, but he was also known to be a supporter of the foolish agenda called social justice which is just jealousy and envy wrapped up in a bow. Does not God bless both the good and the bad. We have been commanded to not be covetous of our neighbor.
Why did catholics drop the ball soo badly in 2008? They need to wake up and not vote so stupidly in 2010. Like voting for democrat pelosi who is a catholic and abortion enabler just like your buddy obama.

Thank you for providling information that is not meant to scare us, but make us aware of what is going on with this administration that is trying to take our country of Chrisianity away from us and handing it over to other non-americans, non-Chrisitians. We all must get off our back sides and fight in a rightous way to let other countries know that God is still living here, in our hearts, and that we will do what ever God leads us to do to attain this privledge, and keep it. The whole world is watching us, and hoping we fail. We CAN NOT fail. All for the glory of God. He is our rock, and we must rise up again, and show the world how much we love God. WE LOVE GOD. AT 84 years of age I need to express my opinion with regards to FREEDOM OF RELIGION. When we lose that, which in many area we already have ,we lose our our freedom in every other area and lose the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA as we know it... We must at all cost protect our constitution and our bill of rights. The battle for our minds is being fought every day.............Whoever is most passionate for their aganda and willing to risk the most will win.. I know the christian is protected eternally but God gave us a will to make our own choice., while we are here.
While it is true the Catholics voted for Obama, so did a lot of other groups. Bashing the entire group is counterproductive. This article is a clear sign that the lock step support of Obama is eroding. Could the lock step support of Democrats be next? You can trace some of the Catholic support of Democrats to the elderly and their experience of the Great Depression. Obama is losing the elderly at break neck speed. Much of the remainder can be traced to Democrat union members. The Democrats are making sweeping legislative changes to cater to the unions to shore up this group. Manipulative at best -- weakening our nation further at worse. The Democrats are largely anti-Christian, and many ant--religious. Pray that all Americans will come to understand that the Democrats worship GOVERNMENT, which is their god. Then pray that the Republicans can quit acting like Democrats. We have a long way to go -- but we can turn this around with the help of God.
Whether or not Obama intends it this way, over time it will still have the effect this article warns about. For that reason, there needs to be a loud outcry from the public against this language.
Obama tips his hand about nothing regarding who he is personally. And I think that's how he likes it. That way, his supporters can see in him anything they wish, such as their savior from financial hardship and the rest of life's vicissitudes.
We had better get to know the people we elect before we elect them.
Perception is real to the people that percieve it and Obama uses munipulation in all that he does. If he can alter the way people percieve things, he has successfully altered the way the world treats it.
The religious community, especially the bishops, bear responsibility for the obama disaster unfolding before our eyes. The constitution is being remade in his image of social justice (state forced redistribution of wealth and state control over the smallest details of our lives). The bishops and the priests were and largely still are silent. They reap what they've sown. Shame on them.
Freedom of Religion, means your are free to worship whom you want, how you want and where you want, are to not worship at all. Freedom of worship simply means that you are free to worship the designated diety, person, place or thing in your own way. But you must worship that which the government dictates.
Hate to put a damper on y'all, but didn't the Catholics vote overwhelmingly for Obama? Didn't many of you ignore his militant pro-choice stance, and took his Ric Warren debate (so-called) not serious enough? I know you are upset, but your voting choices have consequences. It sucks. We're in the same boat. However, moaning and wailing does no good, when you did this to yourselves. Doing something, like NOT voting for Obama or his puppet legislature, may help in the 2010 and 2012 elections. If you're all still wanting illegals to be included in the US, so the Catholic Church coffers cling rather than see red ink, go ahead, vote for Obama and vote with your god of gold. If you prefer lives, legal immigrants, and a halt to further invasions of personal liberties, vote against Obama and vote with your conscience for a change. Plenty of Protestants voted for Obama also, so no one is blameless.
