Mother Pierina of the Holy Face of Christ to Be Beatified Comments

Mother Pierina (1890-1945), a mystic, dedicated her life to spreading devotion to the face of Christ and, at the same time, to the fight against Satan. This was discovered in her personal diary, found by the sisters in the cell of the convent after her death. Continue Reading

Thank you Mother Pierina for the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus. I have been giving the Holy Face medals out and will continue to do so. Our church was on the verge of closing in 2007. My friend and I asked our Priest if we could install a beautiful picture of The Holy Face in our parish. He agreed and ever since the picture has been in our Church it has not closed. Thank you Holy Face of Jesus. Praise be to God the Almighty. I just want to add that I was told by the man from the Assoc. of the Holy Face that there have be many medals sent overseas to give to our soldiers that are in armsway and he went on to say about this one incident when our troops were in their tent and their tent exploided. All were killed but one soldier and he was the only soldier wearing the Holy Face medal. I was so inspired by this story that I gave a priest who was going over to Afghanistana a 100 blessed Holy Face medals to give to some of our troops. Mother Pierina, please intercede for our beloved troops.

I was delighted by this article because I pray the Holy Face prayers every day and have been praying for Mother Pierina's beatification. Also Sr. Marie of St.Peter who is also associated with this devotion. Also St. Theresa of Lisieux's full name in religion was St. Theresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. She was very devoted to Our Lord's Holy Face. You can get a free medal and prayers at holy face@holy

What I find as a remarkable "coincidence" is that the High School in which I work just received a number of packages of the medals that Mother Pierina had struck with a couple very nice pictures of the shroud and close-up images of the Holy Face from the Holy Face Association. They sent all the items free so as to promote the devotion within the school. They promote the devotion that Mother Pierina began. It is marvelous to me how God works.
    Mother Pierina, pray for us!
