What an inspiring story! To think that he gave up everything that he could have had to do the good work of the Lord. May God continue to bless Grant and those discerning the priesthood. :)
As a fellow baseball fan and fellow Catholic, I am inspired by this beautiful story. God Bless Grant Desme.
I've been reading about this remarkable young man on several sports blogs and I'm still having problems holding back the tears of joy of such a decision!
What a remarkable and inspiring story of courage and faith in this young athlete, Grant Desme. God bless him and his extending family and friends.
What a wonderful example for our children. Looking forward to sharing this story with my 13-year-old son. God's blessings and graces upon you!
I was very touched by Grant's decision. I would like him to know that I am praying for him, as he enters the seminary. I am a member of St. Bonaventure, in Concord, California and am an A's fan. So I am also "rooting for Grant". I would like to hear his full story of his calling.
Thank you Lord for Grant Desme Vocation and May your Holy Spirit be with him.
I know the Seminary this young man is entering. You said in your article that this should be national news. He needs privacy and not a parade of media. I suspect they will start to lock the front gate again. Yes a wonderful thing is happening, so lets just let it happen and thank Our Lord for His gift.
I am glad to hear these news. Dear Grant, my prayers are with you and your family. May Jesus and Virgin Mary Bless you, now and forever.
What a great example and proof that man was made "GOOD". Man is not evil by nature, man is 'tempted' towards evil but can be defeated through Christ.
