Bishop Tobin to Congressman Patrick Kennedy: ´What does it mean to be a Catholic?´ Comments
Your rejection of the Church´s teaching on abortion falls into a different category – it´s a deliberate and obstinate act of the will; a conscious decision that you´ve re-affirmed on many occasions. Continue Reading

Thank you for being a servant of the servant of the People of God, Bishop Tobin. May other Bishops see your example and do the same. The Catholic Church's numbers are dwindling but perhaps that is because the organization has been too willing to compromise their principles for far too long.
Deacon Keith Fournier opens his comments by referring to "people in public life who openly defy the clear teaching of the Catholic Church". This is a clear expression from the ego not from the teachings of Jesus. The Church has played a major role in the massive increase in abortions by it non-Christian attempt to destroy the lives of women who find themselves with an unwanted pregnancy. Accepting that the Church does not hold the moral high ground on this very important topic, it is the obligation of every society that would seek to be regarded as 'civilised' to protect the most vulnerable members of that society. These are the unborn children who cannot cry out for help and who need our protection. Abortion must be seen for what it is - the ultimate child abuse.
its about time the kennedys be held accountable for claiming to be catholic yet having their conduct betray them. Your money Congressman doesnt impress everyone, so get over yourself.
Finally!
And thank you very much to our Catholic leaders who are finally standing up to Catholics who think that they can still be Catholics when they vote for abortion! They have been silenced for too long with threats of IRS jerking of their non-profit status!
It is sad that Catholics who embrace abortion and justify it because it is 'legal' cannot see the horrific crime that it is against humanity. I've know nuns who tell me, well its not just about abortion...its also the death penalty and war. How they are comparable in any way just mystifies me. Only a person who has never known the joy of feeling movement in the womb can say that it is not indeed a person. I pray that this heinous crime against the most innocent of lives is overturned.
Finally! Thank you Bishop Tobin.
Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!
Amen, Amen, Amen!
That is the clearest, most direct and unambiguous statement I have read from any of the Bishops on the current scandal with these heretical politicians. Thank God for such a good bishop.
