    Dear All.

Why attack the Messenger? Why not read the message , understand, compare and contrast and if you wish you can do whatever you want to do.Many times, messengers are killed, maimed and their fault is just because they are messengers.

    Dear All,
For a change it is nice to see a more civil discussion on the topic.
Jihad-- in the fighting sense is Self Defence. When Muslims are oppressed, other capable Muslims
    are required to fight---fighting
militarily is violence, THAT IS WHEN OTHER AVENUES ARE EXHAUSTED
then there will be fighting. But Allah limits to self defence and not transgression.

Now, the peop;e REALLY oppressed in the world are Muslims.By oppression is being KILLED in their own homeland.Turn our attention to China, Thailand,Philippines, Bosnia,Palestine.Iraq,Afghanistan
who are doing the most killings?
In Palestine, one desperate suicide bomber can only kill a few but the IDF killed thousands.

Jihad - is doing your utmost best within your capability.I am doing my utmost best for Islam by informing and correcting this false and one sided information on Jihad.I am A jihadi, if you want to call me that.

Mr. Assad-Khan, You are right in saying that the Koran prises Jesus and His Mother as a sign to the world. But, for clarification, Islam does not say that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Most High. It says: It is a created spirit. and Jesus was created like Adam. That is the essential difference between Islam and Christianity. Jesus was incarnated by the Spirit of God. That is why He is the Only Son Of God. The Word of God became Man. His Flesh and human nature is from Mary the Mother of God. Thanks. William

    To Mr./Mrs. Bulbajer :
You have got it wrong about Christianity.
Christianity doesn't encourage violence itself, the men who had the power, used Christianity as a mask for fulfilling their desires.
But Islam itself encourages violence and killing the other how don't believe in Islam.
That is a very important point you must remember.

I do not think we as Christians can reasonably accuse the Islamic world of violence and say we Christians are innocent without addressing Christianity's past. We have not always been peaceful and tolerant.

Vijeya, Muslims believe that Nabi Isa/Jesus was born by the power of Allah. However, the story of Nabi Isa's birth is different than the story of the birth of Jesus in the Bible.

There are Muslims who fabricate untruths about Christianity and attack some part of Christianity. For example:

*Note: There are Muslims who are ashamed at the conduct of the reporters who did that and thus far, the Catholic community in the country has never reacted violently to that transgression.

I back Ben's words. Not all Muslims are terrorists. But our question is about Islam itself. I have one question that if possible any Muslim can answer and help me understand - Islam says Jesus is son of Mary and another prophet. Christianity says Jesus is son of God and Lord Himself. My question is this - if in the name of Jesus someone can be healed, and demons driven out - then how can he not be God? Surely this is possible only through God isnt it? Can you do like this in the name of any prophet - like Elijah, Isaiah? It's not possible. No. So my understanding is Islam's basic concept is wrong. We all worship the same God but Islam downgraded Jesus to just a man that suffered and died.

I was just repeating what Father Botros had said. May I also point out that Islam spread mostly through conquest. And I'm not saying all Muslims are terrorists.
