The only way that Notre Dame can gain any accountability as a Catholic university is to clean house.

Jenkins needs to be defrocked immediately and removed from his position at Notre Dame. The campus needs to immediately cancel all activities to allow moral individuals to reschedule when the positions are cleansd.

There needs to be a period of tough love an almost sacramental period of suffering, mourning and cleansing. Then and only then should the campus reopen.

Real Catholic graduates would understand.

Why does the head of the Holy Cross order just tell jenkins he is wrong and get rid of him. If he supports this organization that explains why he is so persistant on having this pro death president at notre dame. He should be fired then he can join the obama team.

It is the reasoning(or as I term it, rationalization) such as this that some of today's youth see the promotion of contraceptives as a good alternative rather than abstinence. Just like most Democrats would argue that since people are already having sex outside of marriage, might as well protect them from getting pregnant or getting any decease. Whatever happened to just reminding the people what sex was totally intended for, procreation. It was NEVER meant to be for self-gratification.

I am so appalled at Fr. Jenkins and what I am also so sad about, is the lack of Bishops and Priest that have come forward. Notre Dame, or Fr. Jenkins are Catholic, Fr. Jenkins should join Obama's Cabinet. I know God is going to handle this, we just don't know when. We must remember, God is our source, not Obama, or anyone else and we must believe these non-christians are not going to win the battle. God is the Almighty and nothing or no one is more powerful.
