His appearance at the university would appear to violate the USCCB's policy against honoring pro-abortion politicians. Continue Reading

I can just see The Lightbearer laughing up his sleeve at Cardinal George during their meeting the other day..."You poor old sot! Have you no idea whom you are lecturing?"
Too many people and way too many Catholics are literally enthralled by this man. I spoke with a new grandmother the other day, and the look of sheer wonder and ecstatic joy that swept her face when she spoke of what "we" would be accomplishing was one of the most frightening things I've ever seen.
You cannot serve two masters. It would appear that those in power at ND have made their choice.
So sad.
I think the article sums up the situation very well. I would like to add that, in addition to the terrible message it sends to the world, it sends an awful message to Obama, himself, as well.
He already thinks he can get away with anything in terms of assault on the unborn and now this shows him that even so, he will still be invited to speak at major Catholic venues. As he makes decisions in the future you can be sure he will take into account that his positions did not matter at all to ND.
What will ND do if he gets up and speaks about all his anti-life policies?
We need to pray for ND to change their minds and we need to, of course, get in touch with those listed in the article to express our outrage.
