   I am a catholic that is looking forward to possible cures against deadly diseases thanks to this kind of research. I fully expect all of you against it to TURN DOWN any future treatments that come from this research when you become ill since you're having such a hard time seperating religion and science - they can coexist.

   This is a modern progression involving several concepts. Mainly economic rationalism and population control which began in the 1970’s, globally. Economic rationalism requires minimum input and maximum benefit (economically), now adapted by all administrations globally. This is also clearly visible in the modern Chinese model (as China is to be the global saviour for all economies, assisted also by India).
   
   Case in point:
   Firstly, abortion on demand removes State responsibility toward children whose parents may not be fit parents, therefore if one aborts a child the State will save economically (they see it as win/win). One can reasonably presume any one who aborts would not be a fit parent.
   
   Second, children with diagnosed health issues can also be aborted (again saving money), as health services will be free to accommodate the population who have been born, again win/win in economic rationalism.
   
   Third, unwanted pre-birth children can be harvested for scientific purposes (to bring health benefits to the living), these living ‘pay’ for the health service, again creating less stress on the system (justified by ground breaking examples like superman wanting to walk again), again win/win in economic rationalism .
   
   Fourth, once accepted (scientifically and economically rational killing) this practice and rationale can then be adapted easily to the aged, comatosed or high needs individuals and possible extension to the ‘criminal person’, again win/win in economic rationalism.
   
   Examples are unlimited, and can be extended to many concepts if this doctrine takes hold.
   
   The modern paradigm, of justified killing of the innocent, is built on the foundation of economic rationalism and population control, with elements of a perception to create a less problematic society (a concept determined by your ‘reasonable comprehensive doctrine’) and justified by popular support, which gives legitimacy in modern political thought.
   
   Quite possibly this programme once invested, will allow for birth licenses and family size limitations with mandatory killings for those who are outside the rationale (for what ever reason).
   
   However our ‘political’ future lies in solidarity with all non-Christian religions which also believe in the sanctity of life, somthing asserted to many times by Pope John Paul II. United we stand.

   Catholics voted this abortionist in and now it is imperative that they unite from top to bottom to send a clear message that includes----
   
   NO to Stem Cell research
   NO to interference of the internal workings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church
   
   NO to pressure on Doctors etc. to perform procedures which compromise their religious convictions
   NO to Federal funding of overseas abortionists.
   
   Is this Soviet Russia or the United States of America?

   We have now put the first foot forward on the most slippery slope of all - justified murder-and with a co-called Catholics, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy leading the charge! Which of their children would they have sacrificed in the name of research? I can't help think that we are on the edge of self-destruction, where science becomes confused with almighty power. Look at what happened when we legalized abortion - now it is a common form of birth control for those without a conscience.
   
   And someone should inform Ms. Pelosi that the Church is not vague on when life begins - IT IS FROM THE MOMENT OF CONCEPTION! How dare she have an audience with the Pope - she deserves to be excommunicated not welcomed into the Vatican. As Catholics, we should be appalled at her words and behavior, and we should be overwhelming our Church and government officials with letters of protest at Washington's latest actions! This is nothing less than harvesting and recycling of human parts, and the irony of it all is that if Obama gets his national health plan approved, none of the middle class will ever benefit from any expensive research. God may decide to wipe the slate clean, and start all over again.

   I have, for some time, considered Barack Hussein Obama today's an enemy of the Catholic Church. It's easy to reject atheists. It's easy to reject Rev. Wright, many of the popular tv evangelists who do not promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. It gets a little harder for the self-serving liberal church goers when they hear someone call themselves "Christian" because Catholics and other Christians want to be open minded, open hearted, etc. But referring to oneself as Christian is not nearly enough.
   
   We Catholics have to return to learning our faith all over again. There was a time in my past when I was having a very hard time with what I believed. If I remember nothing else from the meeting with my pastor, his final words to me have saved my life. He said. Whatever you decide, hold on to as much of your Catholic faith as you can. I've done this and it has never let me down.
   
   Get back to confession. Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Log on to Catholic Answers, EWTN, Catholiconline.com. Once the Lord lights your heart on fire for the faith, you will never find it boring again. Stop listening to the psychotic catholics like Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden. They do not know what they do. Pray for them and stay away from them. Pray Pray Pray without ceasing. God Bless.

   Such evil! At some point in life we all must make a choice to stand for what we believe in or we will all for anything.
   
   I stand for Christ and the dignity of life and I think it's time to start standing loud and proud.
   
   I am Catholic and I stand for Christ! This is only the beginning of a very long and hard battle, I want Jesus in my fox hole.

   This ,too me, is the fundamental question of God VERSUS eVIL . THE SCIENCE THAT DENIES THE RESURRECTION DENIES JESUS AND IS THEREFORE THE ANTI-CHRIST. tHE LAWS THAT DENY LOVE AND FORGIVENESS DENY JESUS [HIS LIFE'S WORK AND HIS DEATH DUTY] are also therefore Anti Christ . It sadly is so simple .

    This is exactly why the popular arguments in favor of electing this man President of the United States were so wrong. What good is "universal" health care that does not recognize your right to live? Or, to paraphrase Nancy Pelosi, views children and other human beings as burden rather than persons of invaluable worth?
    
    People should be weary now that Obama has begun to tackle the "health care problem." Notice how he never actually discusses improving care but focus only on cost and efficiency. Just look at the pro-choice philosophy regarding children being costly burdens and you can see how we will be treated by these people if we are dependent on them for medical care.
    
    Additionally, look at how the government is controlling the incomes of people whose companies took government money. When we are all forced to take government money for our health care do you think that this government will be any less inclined to control our lives?
    
    The fact of the matter is that these new "moralists" judge the value of human life on one's level of dependence and at the same time advocate policies that give them and their government friends more control over our lives and make us more dependent on them. They want to make our lives worth less.
    
    We must refuse. Therefore, if we want to help the poor, the least of these in this country and others, we need to work outside the government and in the Church. That way we can help persons out of love of Christ and for the sake of that person, rather than using dehumanizing programs that view people as classes of individuals that must be managed efficiently.
    
    We must be on guard against every action of this administration becuase we already know that Barack Obama does not see the value of innocent human life and is completely unable to articulate when he thinks human rights begin or as he put it, the question of when human rights begin is "above my paygrade."
    
    If a man does not know when our rights begin or who is entitled to them, how can he analyze the problems we face as a nation and make decisions that are in accordance with the God given rights of every man, woman and child in this country? The answer is he cannot. Which is why this country is in danger right now.
