I think Palin's pro-life position truly shows when she takes the entire family hunting.

Yes this is a church issue ! God said do not kill! and abortion is killing ! The taking of a human life. Because for what ever reason you don't want your own child and you take it's life! How can this ever be alright ! More babies have die in abortions, then Men in all the wars in history. And they were fighting for our freedom to live safe in the usa.

I agree with Danielle. Abortion, death penalty, assisted suicide, war are all anti-life choices. Palin has expressed her beliefs in these other areas, that are not consistent with her anti abortion stance.

Stay out of politics. Let women make up their own minds. This is not a church decision.

I like how Sara Palin explains how her daughter made the right "CHOICE". In my opinion it is the right choice BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY IT WAS A "CHOICE"- AS IN FREEDOM TO EXERCISE ONES BELIEVES AND MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICE.

By the way. I'm a catholic. How in the world did the Republicans get backing from the Christian moral corner. It's one of the most ridiculous shams of all time....

Would someone please just once read The Sermon on the Mount and ask themselves whether or not the militaristic, oil grubbing, it's o.k to kill sometimes, we need more guns, we need more privatization and less taxes on our wealth and greed, we need to kill criminals, we need to bomb people who threaten our wealth coincides with the words of Jesus????????

The basic democratic philosophy of sharing and caring through fair taxation and helping the poor through necessary government programs and funding, all attempts at non-violent diplomacy before war and killing, less violence through gun control, no capitol punishment is soooooo much more in line with the basic principles of our god and savour Jesus Christ......It literally makes me want to say if you vote republican you are not a Christian, you are not saved, you do not love the principles of Jesus.....oh you made you whole decision on abortion and gay rights.......think.. just go deep in your soul and see the light----what percentage of the bible is dedicated to turning you left cheek, to non violence, to caring for the poor, to not being greedy, 99% and what percent of the bible discusses Jesus's stance on gay marriage and abortion 1 freaking %, if that. Figure it out people----stop being hypocrites and look and your basic morality and compare it to the available political parties and finally realize you have been brain washed by brilliant republican campaign managers who figure out how to trick evangelists...no more being tricked for me...the basic democratic philosophy more like Jesus's word and the basic republican philosophy is more like its polar opposite. Its time to open your eyes and hearts and help the people around you and around the world, Its time for nonviolence, for sharing the wealth, for diplomacy, and love.... Its time to wake up...

Abortion, death penalty, assisted suicide, war are all anti-life choices

I cannot justify that a newly conceived life is more important than the life of an 18 year old soldier who was placed in a war to die. Or that a newly conceived life is more important than that of a death row inmate.

I will not vote for someone because they are 'pro-life' in one aspect of their lives and not another. There are other issues on the table. Like how to feed the mouths of those who are sitting at the table.

Non of the candidates are truly pro-life.

I'm Catholic, baptized since baby, from Catholic family. I understand the Catholic value of 'pro life'. I'm agree with Palin's statement on abortion. On this issue, I'm with her. She might be a great mother. But I'm not comfortable to give my voice for someone who doesn't have enough experience to govern the country. I'm not going to vote based on my religion alone.

I strongly disagree with anyone, especially her parents or any pundits or politicians, using this young girl as an example to others. She deserves neither applause or attacks. While I favor the plans to continue this unplanned pregnancy, it's unclear to the public whose choice this is. Neither parents or child deserves credit or blame for the situation. Furthermore, any thoughts of marriage for these children should be discouraged. Anyone who has been through pre-Cana counseling knows that couples are told that marriage is not a "cure" for the choice to engage in pre-marital sex and especially not for an unexpected pregnancy. It would be far more wrong for this couple to marry solely for the sake of providing a 2 parent household. The resulting heartache of a hasty and possibly unhappy marriage would punish both the parents and the child. Far better to let these young people mature and table the topic of marriage until later in their's & the child's lives.
