   Even in the bible when Noah presented to the people the message he had from God about the mighty flood pending, they did not believe and they all but 8 people perished. We have not learned. Our Lady's expects us to respect local church authority and she also knows that the devil is present in Medjujorge and will work through any means to distroys God's plan to save his people. Pray for the Bishop that can see with his heart instead of his human mind.

   Let us not forget that we, as Catholics, are obligated to obey Church authorities. Padre Pio was an obedient soul to the very end, even when he was being persecuted. Should we not follow Padre Pio's example of being obedient to the bishop in charge in that area?

   We can't trust Ratko Peric's objectivity. He has been reprimanded on several occasions by the vatican for his premature renunciations, while the vatican is intent on its "wait and see" policy, waiting mainly for the apparitions to finish. Furthermore, the Vatican has already told the faithful that the opinions of the local bishops are not to be confused with vatican opinion. So, publishing the comments of the local bishop should probably be avoided. Let's just wait for the Vatican.

   Marian devotion is a simple beautiful aspect of expressing our thanks for all the graces imbued upon us by He is Who is that Saves, the Lord Jesus Son of God, Our Crucified Christ.
   
   Of all the avenues by which we can express our devotion it is of particular uncomfortability in the bottom of my heart that those of the faithful should ignore the verified places of holy pilgrimage in the stead of a popular unestablished folk-tale.
   
   As it appears on the surface as harmless, Medjugorje is in fact been harmful to the ecclessially supported locales of apparitions of Our Blessed Mother.
   
   The Churches position to avoid Medjugorje and tend towards devotion seen as authentic is perhaps the wisest choice. There is a well-said expression: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Think of all the things we have done in seemingly good conscience only find out we have done greater harm through what we thought was charity.
   
   The good soul orders itself towards order; that is, the virtues, of which obedience is particularly prominent. Jesus Christ himself COMMANDS us to obey even when we feel we are oppressed. There is a wisdom greater in the collective mind of the Mystical Body of Christ who is Our Holy Mother Church.
   
   As the body of faithful we are obliged to assist and support with our efforts and prayer those to which we are pre-ordained by virtue of a our birthplace and blood. The inborn culture of the faithful is not to be discounted by any measure.
   Expend your energies on the approved apparitions: Those of Lourdes and Fatima, et al., if you are from Europe. The inhabitants of the British and Irish Isles have Our Lady of Knock. And, those of Guadalupe if you are from the Americas, and so on.

   I cannot even BEGIN to express my utter disgust towards this bishop who clearly has NO UNDERSTANDING OF WHO GOD IS. I know it is unChristian to have these sorts of feelings but I really cant help it after reading the above article. God is great. He decided to send the Mother of the world to push us all back into line (as any mother does for her children)- I mean, just look at the state that the world is in... And what about the weeping statue of the risen Jesus there? What does the bishop have to say about that? You know what? What is the worst case scenario if the bishop approves the apparitions? PEOPLE ARE CONVERTING - THIS IS THE WHOLE BUSINESS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH - WHO BLOODY CARES HOW IT HAPPENS????????????
   The world and in this case the CATHOLIC CHURCH is too busy worried about RED TAPE and pathetic concerns to see the beautiful bottom line- PEOPLE ARE CHANGING - BEING HEALED - PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, SPIRITUALLY.
   This article makes me sick and all those doubters out there ESP THIS BISHOP - will NEVER reach spiritual enlightenment if they keep up this attitude.

   Simply Outrageous! It seems that people who walk on the god's path always suffer and gets tortured by others- Those visionaries gave up their dreams, and lives to live the Virgin Mary's messages... I've seen people crying and doing confessions- really repent for what they've done and became a new person- God's child- Love, Peace and forgiveness- how could he say that all these things convince other people to think that our religion is NOT authentic?

   I am deeply disturbed as a Catholic, the Pope has supported Bishop Peric and Zanic in rejecting the Apparitions as Authentic. I would like to know the specific reasons the Pope has rejected the Appearance of the Mother of God at Medjugorje.
   
   I have done much reading on this
   subject and their are hundreds of
   Miracles that have occurred in Medjugorje that cannot be explained. For these visionaries to stick to their opinion all these years and for their faith to grow stronger draws a similar comparison to the Apostles after
   Jesus died to become stronger in
   their faith. Nothing changed the Apostles Faith afterwards and they became very strong with every one being Martyred except John. The real evidence will be accepted when the first 3 secrets will be revealed to the world and the permanent sign will be shown.
